Can I just say, for every team at this tournament, it was awesome to see pro Val again. Idc how your team did or is doing. While the format is heartbreaking, it did what it was meant to do. It was an intro/ kickoff for the season. I think after not seeing you team play for 6 months it was just nice to see some top tier Val. And while your team may be out, the season actually starts very soon.

Anyways I’m shocked at just how solid every team looks.

format sucks, exhibition tournament meant to show off every team but unfortunately 16 teams get only 2-3 maps to show themselves off ahead of their leagues. Either way its been an enjoyable tournament.

Best format in the time allotted to the tournament imo. Any other format with 32 teams or would have taken too long or be too confusing for fans. Because this is an exhibition tournament, riot didnt want to do dual streams because it would take the spotlight of many teams.

oh i agree that its better this than a 2 month long + tournament, still sucks for the teams that didn't get to show much and as such (not that it matters) fans are gonna rlly underrate or overrate alot of teams with valorant being one of those any given day kind of games

Yeah exactly and I think it did that well. No one has footage all rosters are new. At the end of the day which is weird for me cause i like winning and all that but the entertainment was there no matter what match you watched

100%, like as badly as I wanted NRG to win I'm okay with how far they got because they atleast got some of a showing to make top 8. Really impressed with alot of the teams across the board and I can't complain because most matches have been entertaining despite there being a few blowouts here n there.

the off season will be way more extensive this year tbh, with a stable franchising system it will be a better investment for large companies

who knows we could see blast premiere or IEM who tf knows
