Bro, I swear, I don't know what world some North Americans or Europeans live in. Usually they don't value Brazilian teams, and I even understand, however, the amount of misinformation they have for Latam teams is impressive. Today I got tired of hearing them saying that leviatan is a team that you don't know what to expect, that it's not a favorite team and blablabla, and every team that trained against them, said that they are the best against they scrimmed. It's stupid enough, and it bothers me, because when it's any other team NA/EU, they say "this team is the favorite", "this team has to win", as if the rest of the planet didn't exist.

You can value someone, without depreciating the other, this is called maturity, empathy and notion.

I'm not sure what you expect from us? Leviathan look great and everyone is saying good things about their scrims but they haven't won anything or gotten past a Quarterfinal in an international tournament so people aren't gonna believe a ton until they get Top 6 or something. You can't really be called a favorite until you prove it, which is what they are doing now. If they do well this tournament then they will be favorites in their matches in the future.

Not sure about fnatic. But pretty sure some of that confidence in C9 comes from the cores experience together prior to valorant in CSGO. Might also be true of fnatic players, don't know their history. Either way, fans will always over-hype the teams that they're cheering for regardless of what reality is. You're gonna find more EMEA/NA fans here than Br which results in more over-estimation of those teams as compared to Brazilian/Latam/APAC teams. It is what it is. No reason to get upset about it.

It's not about quantity, its about hypocrisy. LOUD, LEV and other teams from minor regions already got really good results and standings, and proves how good they are or how much potential they have, but every single tournament people treat it like they need to prove themselves again while treating NA/EMEA teams that didn't even play a single match as favorites or top-tier.

we have reason to get uspet. Im not calling fans in general, cuz fans will always overhype, like u said. Im talking about casters and etc in general. Looks like they have a concrete wall in front of their faces. They just cant be honest, or, they fail to see how good other teams are outside their bubble. And, when they praise these teams from outside, it seems like it's out of obligation, because whenever you put a 1x1 between a team on our side, against one on the other side, they will always say that "theirs" is better. Without really trying to realise and without being cohesive, thats whats bothers.
