i may not be from EU but the EMEA teams that played in the Alpha bracket are like the bottom of the barrel teams… you cant expect EMEA to show their best when you are showing their worst versus the best of Americas and Pacific like NRG and DRX
Exactly. these guys think their superteams vs mid-bottom tier EMEA means AMERICAS and ASIA > EMEA or something.

EMEA has a lot of talent its just that the orgs didnt pick up good teams and stuck with their tier 2 teams from last year... disappointing but eventually they will have to be forced to pick up good players since all the regions are getting stronger
Enzo is probably the main one I can think of, H1ber is another who is tearing up Spanish VRL atm. You could also potentially make an argument that (I know people will meme on this) guys like Mistic, Magnum & Monsteerr maybe would have been worth another shot at the top level in EMEA instead of some of the players that did get picked up. I'm not saying all of those guys are "World Class" in the same way that like nAts or Derke are but then not everybody that made franchising in Americas is a yay or Cryo level player either.
I'd also be pretty confident that there is plenty of talent in VRLs that haven't even touched Tier 1 yet that could excel in the right system, just the same as there is in NA, VRLs just don't seem to be promoted as well as NA Tier 2 so I think there's a lot less familiarity with the players in VRL, especially being that it's split up into regions.

Both Fnatic and then NaVi/Liquid can make it to semis, while NA cannot have 2 teams in semis if EG loses today and either of SEN or 100T make it.
fnatic have to beat SEN and 100T for EMEA to have 2 teams in semis, good luck with that

1 and 2 teams are confirmed, 3 and 4 are highly likely .
so there is high chance for either of the three 2 NA/2 emea/2 SA for the last 2 semifinalists
I mean on paper/pre season expectations Omega group has top 3 EMEA teams + Vitality who will likely end up to be anything from 4th to 6th in EMEA, and then ofc FUT who are likely the worst. While Alpha had Giants and KOI who likely end up in top 6 and then you have Heretics, KCorp and BBL who are all likely bottom 4 teams.
KCorp performance was impressive. Xms was severely disappointing considering he was a top player in TENSTAR/MADLIONS.
OMG Takas, enzo, scream and nivera would be beautifull espectially with scream steping of the dualists. I would and Logan too
yeah they are really down to their last leg rn,idk man this is really scary for emea i think everyone set their expectations really high for a single elimination event with like a month of pracc,i wonder what the orgs will do if their roster doesnt do well here... they might just drop the whole roster tbh

I dont wana overhype FNC, NAVI and TL but you cant argue that they dont look like the best EMEA teams... Its not looking good for EMEA but its defenitly not over yet. There is a good chance they choke but god knows i wouldnt underestemate them. Also you kids got to stop with the region hate, chill out and enjoy the show...
