Is paper rex guaranteed to win lock in just like how LOUD and optic won after going out in groups and coming second place in the tournament before they went out in groups?

2nd place curse is a fluke only for the optic/loud rivalry. It did not work for GMB, Fnc, etc

it only works if you get grouped/ go out early immediately after your second place. if you don't fufill that, you aren't guaranteed the win.

2nd place curse has literally happened twice; 3 times if you count gambit falling off but thats honestly a stretch.
