i feel like he's getting extremely overrated, he's a top player no doubt i just don't think i saw him being at yay's carry level ever.
i hope people don't turn into haters when he doesn't meet these insane expectations.
he was the worst loud player at champions bro... pancada, sacy, less, saadhak, aspas in that order https://www.vlr.gg/event/stats/1015/valorant-champions-2022 wake up
I mean, comparing him to yay in stats is kinda unfair. Aspas was a full time duelist, always making first contact and doing the entry. Yay was mostly on chamber, having safe first contacts through off-angles + instant teleport out after first shot. Aspas is obviously gonna die way more and have less fragging potential because of the difference in time they were both alive.
It depends man, when it comes to LOUD, Aspas does risky entrys because of his aim and because he can get value out of them even if he dies, Sacy and Saadhak talked about that because of some fracture games and such. He gets a lot of kills but he also dies a lot. Yay seems more consistent because he's got a similar level of aim (both are demons) but he used and agent that could easly get him out of situations in an instant, and even when Yay played Jett he didn't entry like aspas did. Comparing both using raw stats like that is just dumb and shallow.
Actually it seems that aspas don't have that much impact, cuz whole LOUD team last year was cracked af and everyone kind of frags equally
Cauanzin and TuyZ have the same playstyle of Sacy and pANcada, so I think that this year will be almost the same thing... The only difference it's that Sacy and Pancada have more experience years than the rookies
Yay with Chamber meta buff = aspas
Yay without Chamber meta buff < aspas
I think the "overrated" here is Yay. He became what he is thanks to the agent's imbalance, and because of his insane skill with operator. He's surely on top 3 players, but in overall (agents and guns) aspas is better

Me and every pro player in the Brazilian scene agrees with this
Aspas is totally replaceable

the highlights that mwzera does in lives are more insane that the ones aspas does, but Loud's duelist is so hyped that people exaggerate his plays. Aspas is a really good player, but if mwzera was Loud duelist, that would be no doubt with who is the best player in the world. No worries, 2023 has a name, welcome to the mwzera era.
Aspas isn't replaceable, not everyone can play well under pressure like Aspas... in grand final of the reykjavik masters, Aspas played ALL 3 MAPS well, and even when they were 2-0 in Breeze, he kept playing well
even before joining Loud he already showed he could play well under pressure, he even made a 2-10 comeback against Gamelanders https://youtu.be/FvyZxlpvQlM?t=1416
