I’m going to try to be as unspecific as possible to avoid doxxing myself but one of the franchised teams is doing a watchparty for LOCK//IN really close to where I live. Have any of you VLR users been to an official Valorant watchparty yet? How was the experience? I’m trying to decide if it’s worth it.

I've been to two, and for one of them I was in the organizing crew. Both were hype, and unless you're from the same small country as me, the one you'd go to will probably be bigger than the ones I went to and therefore even more hype. I'd say 10/10 go.

Thanks for the feedback! I’m glad to know that people have a good experience with watchparties! As of right now, I’m trying to get some of my friends to come with me because I don’t really want to go alone.

Yeah it's ofc more fun to do stuff with friends, but I did go alone to my first watchparty and that's actually how I ended up organizing the second. I was alone so the organizers and some streamers etc approached me so I wouldn't be lonely, and they were all so nice and sweet that when the org opened applications for intern staff a few months later, I applied and got in :D So either way I recommend going, good sports events unite people and you'll surely find someone to chat with!
