but they want to try with this roster. and they're getting closer and closer all the time, closing the gap to t2 and improving as a team, so why switch tactics? it's also a matter of being financially viable, and farming GC prize money certainly incetivizes the org to keep supporting the team.

and how would that work anywhere but in na or brazil where the gc regions dont align with the tier 2 regions? which challengers league in emea should g2 gozen have played in last season? theyre not strictly eligible for any of them, because of region lock rules.

they played in the open qualifiers last season and sure as hell will do the same for next season. it's not a matter of "choosing to go t2" and ditching GC, they're working hard to be able to play at that level and have been playing in co-ed tourneys since the beginning of the team. they just also happen to be GC eligible, so ofc they'll play there as well.
