😆😆😆😆😆😆
it's APAC and i have strange feeling about Gen G or RRQ

yeah nah misremembered that last part thats on me
but idk, i would be p surprised if a tier 1 kr team picked their players like that. dont forget that damwon drx t1 and geng all have coaches with tons of tac fps experience, and nongshim have pine as coach, who is a tf2 and ow pro
plus idk how a bleed player would have insight on kr team selections
ah right lets act like t1 (A FRANCHISED ORG) didnt just pickup 2 random players that 90% of people in this site never heard of (maybe not carpe, i think i remember him from somewhere)
i even searched and watched alot of videos of both of them and they are trash, carpe was a chamber abuser and the other one looks like a diamond player by the way he moves (also apparently a jett one trick) and even above that they literally have 0 exp with pro val
and im not even going to talk about nongshim, WAY worse and the players are so random that i cant even find any video/stream/info on them
kr orgs also clearly dont know who are the actual good pros since players like ssun, wix, zunba, goddead etc are f/a but someone like secret gets in a team + its literally basic logical connection to assume its a kr org since he said its a tier 1 org and he said "even SA did this" which means it isnt south asia
kr is the only region with alot of tier1 orgs, but that depends on the point of view of the guy who made that post
Carpe is an OWL pro and one of the best players in that game at his peak. It wasn't risky considering Sayaplayer, Munchkin, Babybay, Bazzi, Zunba, and other OWL pros have had good success in Valorant. Hell, Derrek was not even Tier 1 in OW and is a solid player for 100T.
Beomjun was signed because Munchkin vouched for him, not because T1 had a shitty selection process. Munchkin duos with Beomjun a lot. Munchkin's voice definitely has merit as even the DRX staff I believe have praised his smarts.
Plus, for example, Xerxia's Surf was a Ranked demon and he was literally only picked up because of that. Zero professional experience and he's immediately picked up to replace at the time APAC's best duelist. And he's proven himself as a replacement over Pati, so it's not that big of a stretch especially considering Beomjun is the 6th man and not a starter. He also hit Radiant in NA, APAC, and Korea.
Nongshim have Pine as a coach and most of their players have played in pro Valorant for a decent while. I agree that GodDead, Wenty, and Ssun not being picked up is a travesty, but Bail already trialed almost every single KR pro for Gen.G and he himself said he thought about picking Wenty but decided not to - saying Wenty lacked in teamplay.
kr orgs also clearly dont know who are the actual good pros since players like ssun, wix, zunba, goddead etc are f/a but someone like secret gets in a team
It's actually delusional to think that Bail, a coach who created TNL, built up Meteor, Hate, eKo, Exy, and TS, a coach who made Masters with Northeption, and a vetted CS 1.6 player on the same team as Glow, Termi, Peri, and Solo, doesn't know what good talent is. He said he picked Secret because he believes in his potential.
GodDead I remember hearing him wanting to return to streaming instead of pro play.
Zunba is in the military btw lol, ofc he's not getting picked up
As for basic logical connection to assume it's a KR org...bro already forgot about RRQ using the same old players who managed to fail getting into playoffs and only changed because of huge community backlash.
I don't understand the logic - what's wrong with picking up promising talent and aiming to build them up? With that same method of reasoning, DRX picking up MaKo was the worst decision ever at the time because MaKo had never played smokes up until then.
If it's obvious that these players are this talented to random VLR users there is no way it's not apparent to KR management, especially considering the casters and coaches in the KR scene are fully aware of their potential - and anyone can see the stats for themselves. The reach is insane with this one.

ah yes a totally smart move from the best staff team in the world! lets sign a random player who is a jett one trick with 0 exp because ANOTHER jett/chamber one trick said so! and just because those others players had sucess doenst mean hes gonna have too, and none of these except derrek had any real sucess lol. like what the fuck is this logic?

thats just bullshit. theres a thing called "trying out players" and he didnt get "immediately" picked up. they had months and months of real matches and scrims to determine if he was actually good for future big tournaments, please do not even compare them two. atleast hes a 6th man which makes things a little better, and hitting radiant in multiple regions doenst mean shit. basically every pro can do this and even some average radiants and streamers.

and thats just TOTAL BULLSHIT lmao. bail is a great coach no doubt but saying he "built up" any of these players is BEYOND delusional. specially this core of eko, exy and ts. in the early days these guys were destroy others kr players that nowdays are considered the best, they also have easily one of the best aims in kr. ANY coach in the world if they had the opportunity to build a team in the early days in this region 99% would pick this core, and i dont even need to explain meteor and hate, basically the same thing. and not everyone has insane potential. im not hating on secret, if secret atleast was getting a little bit better after some time i would agree with this pickup and have no problem in saying he has potential, but hes literally a mediocre player. was the worst player in desperado and DAWMON too, hes also really inconsistent. idk what role is he playing or if they are flexing with each other but thats even worse.
As for basic logical connection to assume it's a KR org...bro already forgot about RRQ using the same old players who managed to fail getting into playoffs and only changed because of huge community backlash.
i really dont know if youre baiting on purpose, but this is beyond being ignorant lmao. rrq has already a roster to play, so i dont even understand the need to use them as example, and they didnt get hated because "they didnt get into playoffs" they got hated because they were getting PH players with WAY better ID out there like monyet, and then they needed to get ID players because of riot, they also said top tier ID players werent "qualified enough in trials" which is just braindead, atleast get your facts right. im saying its probably a KR org since its the only region in asia that i can see that has alot of tier1 orgs, and based on these pickups like i said its likely to be a KR org. its really not that hard to understand that. do i need to draw it for you?
I don't understand the logic - what's wrong with picking up promising talent and aiming to build them up? With that same method of reasoning, DRX picking up MaKo was the worst decision ever at the time because MaKo had never played smokes up until then.
i literally never said that's wrong. i'm saying that going for that route in times like this is just stupid. this is franchising, any type of loss is risky. and do you understand that they are going to play in just some days? do you think secret will surprisingly get insane out of nowhere?
i just feel sad that this roster had potential to beat DRX but bail decides to throw a t2 inconsistent player in there. and PLEASE just stop with the typical cringe argument "b- but mako never played smokes and look where he is now" MAKO WAS LITERALLY DROPPING INSANE STATS. +20 every game. with 170+ adr, basically 60 kills every game with insane FK-FD stats even when he rarely played OP. and him switching roles is not surprising at all and not special. basically every top tier smokes players in the world right now was playing different roles, just to name a few: bang (was main initiator) marved (always played smokes since beta but most of the times was flexing between agents) pancada (duelist/raze main) and etc..
lmao, ok bro. so pressed he wrote two ass comments to dig himself deeper
i'm not gonna write out another long essay because there's going to be no end to this but you're actually dumb, partly for unnecessarily simplifying shit down to "munchkin is jett chamber onetrick aha so he doesnt get a point", and strawmanning one of my points about bail without acknowledging that you straight up said he didnt know what good players are lmao, these are just some of the few crazy statements and arguments you've made
and yeah, it really isnt that deep. there's little to suggest that the country with the most developed esports infrastructure, with tier 1 coaches mostly having experience in team based shooters/tac fps, would be the ones conducting trials through 1v1s.
dont forget that the guy who tweeted this is from BLEED, the SEA org lmfao, it's really not that deep he's likely talking about an APAC org lmaooooo
