That's just so not true. That's the team a beat team b who beat team c so team a is gonna beat team c. That's not how it works, you proof your better than a team when you beat someone.
Also round difference is the opposite than fair, for example it's not the same facing the dead last team on the first game than on the last one when they're out. Having a team make it through because they 13-0d a team instead of 13-5 them does not make sense at all

the system is generalized to be a fair tie breaker for many situations, ofc theres a few exceptions that could make it not as effective as we would hope a tie breaker system is, theres flaws with h2h aswell like the one i talked abt above
every lan ive played in used rd over h2h for the reasons i said before
