Well, obviously Hitler is not a net-positive historical figure. But he actually did bring a lot of things of value. A lot of advances in science, many fields, were Hitler's initiative. Rockets, jet planes, the advancement of the motor engine, medicine. Sure, the motive was evil, but it still brought these things to light. Co-operation between the public and the private sector towards a common goal.

Admittedly, the second world war was horrendous, but it propelled humanity towards a new age. The reaction to the atrocities alone has taught us the wrongdoings of fascism and discrimination. It shed light on the flaws of totalitarianism.
