PRX is slowly getting worse

Masters Copenhagen was their prime.
No team at the time knew how to counter them(Except FPX)
But slowly their comps and strats are getting old and predictable
Now every time I see PRX even fight a tier 2 team, I feel anxious that they might loose

PRX VS G2 (13-7)
PRX VS HERETICS (13-11)
It is an absurd comparison but they are nowhere near their prime, there are small spikes of gameplay in a game where they play like their prime but it is super inconsistent

Also, they were trolling real hard against GE so them winning 7 rounds is pretty much the result of PRX not playing seriously. I mean, if any team runs Phoenix and Reyna on Haven then you should be knowing by now...
If they were playing seriously like how they were against BOOM then I'm pretty sure it would've been a 13-4 win or 13-3

Yoru is a gimmicky agent, when you are playing against it without experience, ofc you will perform very bad. Even vision strikers lost a map around their perfect win streak to another team playing Yoru due to his gimmicks. However, once you know what those gimmicks are, it becomes easy to counter-strat them.
It became worse when Forsaken literally went to every other EU streamer as a guest and just explained their entire playbook to them like a little child. I heard some T2 EU teams on scrim discord servers studying those lineups and plays. If T2 teams who will never play against PRX are doing it, you bet teams like G2 and others are doing it as well.
You could say the same for the PRX playstyle as well. Very gimmicky but easy to counter once you are experienced against them (like how DRX and Zeta counter them) Also local SEA teams give them much more of a fight nowadays compared to NA or EU teams who never played against them.

isnt that obvious? the only reason they came #2 was because they played a playstyle which wasnt ever played. this is heretics with 2 weeks of practice or even less. also to be fair, this is off season and i dont expect them to create and show new stuff now. but i still think they wont become a #1 world team until and unless they can switch their playstyles to be both passive and aggresive when needed. only aggresive playstyle wont take you to the first place iin the future of valorant

Ppl actually braindead takes lol. Everyone got better at playing around comps with yoru and prx playstyle in general. Look at the players on heretics and tell me that they have tier 2 level players. Franchising made it so that many teams became insanely stack. Every team just got a whole lot better. The game is constantly evolving with metas every 2 or 3 months. Paper Rex playstyle is an extremely volatile one. The matches can flip once they get figure out but they're very good at putting the pressure on their opponents.

they are popular now, teams will analyze their comp a lot more seriously, so it makes sense others can fight it really well

I think they are hiding their real bind comp for 2023, no way they are sticking with the yoru for this long when they know it just dosent work anymore

You've got a point. their strat on bind with yoru is always the exact same strat PRX does in every tournament, mind games, high risk high reward playstyle. Heretics finally adapted to their playstyle on 2nd half but PRX got lucky winning so many duels and clutches. I really don't think they can keep up if they stay like this

Their bind start is not good, it does not define who they are as a team. FPX were able to nearly 13-0 the team with ease, FNC were too startled, but even they got like 10 rounds. Only if mistic remembered how to shoot his gun and derke was having the worst game of his life. Overall, they create an immense amount of pressure on the enemy team and sometimes specific players and manage to get away with the win. I think that is their biggest strength. They can make an enemy player underperform. They are a great A-tier team with some s-tier player and performances. They are not miles better than the likes of average best teams like FNC, Optic, Liquid, but are a loot better than most teams below their tier like xerxia, any APAC team, NA overrated squads like 100T and TGRD.

prs starts idea "hey you never seen this right? boom boom", they always need new strats everyday or its just going to get countered easy. Just look at prx v fpx bind

I think their play style is still gonna work on APAC. maybe not against DRX or #1 team from JP. But internationally, yeah every team kinda figure it out now.
