In the vid they announce “boaster is coming to Japan!” like he’s some celeb and the people of Japan should rejoice. Like no one knows u lil bro. Neither do they care.
Boaster is one of the most popular Valorant players. I think in EU he is top 5 in terms of Twitter followers. And both Fnatic and boaster personally have a pretty solid brand in Japan as well. He is pretty close to a lot of JP Valorant players, the JP fans love him, why wouldn't they announce it like that?
Boaster can go into amiami to get his name on the wall for sure, if someone can do that, I think people do care.

amiami is a popular anime figurine/toys shop. They have a wall for famous people. Famous people are given a piece of cardboard to sign and put their name on. Some famous people that signed : Disguised Toast, CdawgVA, etc Boaster was way more clout and people do care.

Boaster is a toxic shitter hiding behind microcelebrity status (When does TSM play/Justic for Ec1s) with a shallow stratbook that plays for frags when his team is losing to draw the attention on his teammates when he loses because hes a "fragging IGL"
and then when he and his team underperforms, he has his girlfriend (a Riot employed host for VCT) come on VLR/Twitter and try to sway the narrative in his favor
support that shitter all you want, but also understand that anyone that signs a contract with Fnatic is doomed to make every LAN and disappoint, and EMEA as a region is going to remain weak because their best team doesn't have what it takes to perform internationally
