100 Thieves 100 Thieves North America Rank #6 zander Alexander Dituri Cryocells Matthew Panganiban eeiu Daniel Vucenovic Boostio Kelden Pupello Asuna Peter Mazuryk have announced the addition of former CS:GO pro Ethan "Ethan" Arnold to their roster, who will replace Quan "dicey" Tran on the active lineup starting with the VCT Challengers 3 main event.
Ethan has been competing in CS:GO for the past five years, marking this his official debut in VALORANT. We’re excited to support his transition and can’t wait to see him compete with the team! #100T
The 20-year-old player moves over from a lengthy career in CS:GO, stretching back to 2017. He last played for Evil Geniuses, who peaked at #1 in the world in HLTV's World Rankings.
Dicey originally joined the 100T roster alongside Peter "Asuna" Mazuryk from the Immortals roster as the last two players of the organization's First Strike lineup, primarily acting within a support role. The team made headlines in First Strike, defeating standing rivals TSM and Sentinels to win the first Valorant major event.
100 Thieves' journey through the VCT Challengers has been considerably more tumultuous, with the roster falling out of the first qualifier early to Carpe Noctem while fielding Jonathan "silenx" Huntington as a stand-in for Nick "nitr0" Cannella. The team reached the main event of the second Challengers of Stage 1, but fell to Luminosity and Sentinels early in the bracket and failed to qualify for the VCT Masters.
Ethan will debut professionally in Valorant in the VCT Challengers 3, which will begin on March 4. It will be the last opportunity for the roster to qualify for the VCT Stage 1 Masters.
