yeah because the one who's going to decide the new team is the head coach, not sentinels, mind you sentinels never had a 'proper coach' up until this point so that's why sentinels just put the roster picking job to the coach.
shahzam already informed weeks prior that he's contract was up and when he was in talks with sentinels, he's not offered a contract, which means he was a free agent, but again, he chose not to announce it. maybe his ego thinks that the new coach will pick him or something
but then he suddenly played the "ooh they left me in the dark idk that this is coming!" when they dropped him and act like he was the victim is just fucking bullshit IMO.
