How they treated Shaz is just another example of the lack of professionalism among esports organizations
I hope that now we have transitioned to a league structure, Riot will start to issue some penalties for behavior such as this
GreyDaze [#2]Did u even read the ceo's tweets?
Doesn’t matter, everything has been leaked by George anyways and it means the decision had already been made. The second they knew he was out he should have been informed

Didn't rob literally say he was free to explore other options? Yet shahzam for some reason assumed that he was still not being dropped

Perma [#5]Maybe read both parties statements instead of only one?
Maybe i’m misunderstanding Rob’s statement, but instead of informing Shaz that they were actively looking for players to replace him specifically, they just kinda said “we’ll you’re a free agent, so you can look at other teams than ours if you want”

yeah because the one who's going to decide the new team is the head coach, not sentinels, mind you sentinels never had a 'proper coach' up until this point so that's why sentinels just put the roster picking job to the coach.
shahzam already informed weeks prior that he's contract was up and when he was in talks with sentinels, he's not offered a contract, which means he was a free agent, but again, he chose not to announce it. maybe his ego thinks that the new coach will pick him or something
but then he suddenly played the "ooh they left me in the dark idk that this is coming!" when they dropped him and act like he was the victim is just fucking bullshit IMO.

Yeah I felt bad for him but once rob came out with a statement it all made sense. Its like saying you got fired and complaining that the staff didnt notify you that someone waa taking your old position.
