1st Masters

Kickoffs will be fun, but 1st Masters of every year will be Mickey Mouse.

Still today no one has mastered Deadlock and Vyse comps yet, and we're already adding another agent to the season. A shit team who mastered the comp/meta first will ascend to Masters from Kickoffs. Eventually the better teams will show themselves in the 2nd Masters after they had more time to professionalize their comps and meta, but 1st Masters will just be a clown fest of uncertainty as always.

Edit:
SEN wins Kickoffs 2024 and Wins 1st Masters (Only 8 teams playoffs jokes)
Then nowhere to be found: https://www.vlr.gg/event/2004/champions-tour-2024-americas-stage-1
Again nowhere to be found: https://www.vlr.gg/event/1999/champions-tour-2024-masters-shanghai
Barely (got lucky) to go through over 100T: https://www.vlr.gg/event/2095/champions-tour-2024-americas-stage-2
Did well at Champs but point is 1st Masters is always Mickey : https://www.vlr.gg/event/2097/valorant-champions-2024
Point proven.

i mean this is true even tho ppl say its bait, thats the problem with valorant in general, people already had the worry that it would turn out to be more of a utility based hero shooter than a "tac fps" when we get too much shit and riot changes the meta without any consideration of the pro scene,i guess its better for viewers tho

Okay but why did you end your argument with "Point proven." as if you've proved anything?

You all yap about this and then when Riot waits until major events are over to introduce changes it's yap about not enough new content and that they only care about pro play

In 2022 the first masters and champs had the same finalists, in 2023 the two finalists at lock in dominated their respective regions and were both top4 at champs

You admitted that sentinels might not fit entirely in your rules but they're actually the weakest case here
