I think that it's the same history with Vivo Keyd... Riot doesn't like them very much. Optic is out of League of Legends just like Vivo Keyd.

Vivo Keyd fell short on 2021's CBLOL line-up because of the "regionality" factor.
Rensga took everyone by surprise by being chosen, but we saw what happened after all... Also (I'm making an assumption now), they had almost all factors alike Vivo Keyd.

I think Riot is being twice as rigorous so they'll keep this mess far away from Valorant as well. VK hasn't evolved as much as an org since then.
