NA Franchising Roster Predictions

I got bored and created a roster for the entirety of NA franchising.
lol

The teams are just random guesses, I think 100T, SEN, C9, TSM will make it so I just chose them.

I took into account the fact that 100T is very likely to make franchising and will probably want to keep their core of Asuna/Bang/Derrek together.

I kept OPTIC as OPTIC because whether or not they make franchising they want to stay together, so I kept them together. (It also just makes everything even more crazy if I didn't so ye).
I tried to keep into account player roles, performance (i.e. how good they seem), their stats.

I also made sure every team had an IGL, which does complicate it a bit since good IGL's are few and far between. I chose Stellar for 100T because he is already on the team +he can frag +Sean Gares and him make a good pair and I don't see him leaving 100T

IGL's are highlighted in red.

These are just kinda preliminary guesses. I'm probably missing some very important players, and probably have everything wrong, but oh well.

Feel free to ask questions/argue against any of my picks - interested to see what everyone thinks.

I don't think shahz is better than dephh at all lol, zellsis> Dapr cuz he has more versatility off of sentinel (the role)

dapr can play all 4 sentinels and viper. zellsis hasn't ever looked good on the sentinel role. (assuming chamber gets nerfed)

sure if they don't want to have the best chance at qualifying for international events. They would not qual with Shahz I'm telling you that right now. The level of competition is to hard, especially with teams like LOUD and LEV joining, for SEN to even think about qualifying with Shahz. Dephh is a much better igl, and proved it against teams like FPX and Fnatic.

I was debating between him and dephh but dephh did just bring his team to a top 6 finish at champs and dephh's initiator> subroza's initiator

Subroza on smokes is a different story but I didn't see a better spot for that.

Dephh isn't really an improvement over Shahz.

I'd keep the roster they had for LCQ but -Shroud + Sick since Shroud likely won't be back. Zellsis fits well, Dapr is performing well, Tenz can and will improve and Shahz is still a good IGL.

If NRG doesn't make it, maybe poach Hazed

Trent deserves so much better than TSM. Call me delusional, idc. He’s the best initiator after crashies in NA, and he’s only behind crashies because he couldn’t prove himself on LAN cuz the no music debuff is real. Valyn is such a good player, just don’t let him play KAYO. He’s a good fragger while igling and playing smokes. I could see him replacing dephh on ur list, and SEN would keep dapr instead of supamen

like I said in the post, the team at the top rly doesn't matter. I don't think he would go to 100T cuz he doesn't clear Derrek by much, if at all, so 100T would keep the core. I don't think C9 gives up xeppaa, and then only team left is sen or Tsm here and I put dephh as the IGL for sen and he plays initiator so ye

He 100% clears Derrek. Derrek has much less value when he isn’t clutching, which was extremely evident at champs. Trent is a consistent multifragger, which is a much more consistent playstyle. I don’t think he would replace Derrek tho, I just think Trent is a better player.

Derrek had one good tournament and everyone thinks he's better than trent :skull: but when trent has 230 acs avg in stage 1, higher acs than derrek despite guard bombing out basically in stage 2, and better stats in LCQ, suddenly he's somehow worse. Derrek is so overhyped for his clutches. bro had like 1 clutch at champs.

You have a point, but I don't see 100T letting him go after the performance he had, and the chemistry 100T has already. If they're keeping stellar, Asuna, bang I don't know hwy they'd ruin the chemistry for a small upgrade in Trent

Like I said, I completely agree. There’s no way 100T drops Derrek. He’s good, not as good as Trent, but good enough to deserve his spot on 100T. That would be like removing Victor for zekken. Victor is better at some agents plus he has the chemistry with optic so no point in removing him.

Optic - no roster change is definitely believable, even if theyre bought out that core wont change
100T - while i feel like they could improve in some regards, I dont see them breaking up the roster they put alot of time into, although Cryo would def be my first choice, if not him then Bdog. So its acceptable

SEN - I feel like a Dapr/Zellsis would happen over say a Zekken/Zellsis just because Dapr has the flexibility and was already their senti/smoke player. Zellsis and Zekken basically play the same role, as for adding Supamen feels like a good W for them

C9 - They wouldn't drop leaf, they'd 100% keep the core of Vanity, Xeppaa, and Leaf. Either all go or none go I feel like. -Curry, Mitch very likely. JonahP and NeT feel like they'd be good pickups for them, but Guard are heavily in the running to also make it and that core likely wouldn't break up so a + Dicey + Ethan/Eeiu/Subroza as Initiator/Flex

TSM - Just buy out guard roster, although its basically a given that only maybe Subroza of the current TSM core would even be on the team still.

I don't think the guard would get bought out, there's way better teams that could be made even with a couple changes. They were essentially na's fourth best team this year, so I don't see why they would get picked up as a whole when you have all of NA val to pick from

Personally I have Guard making the league so I'm just being a critic to your proposed roster cause to me it looks like a mess.

If 100T dont make at least 2 roster changes they arent going to complete for a championship. All other teams are going to upgrade making 100T even worse. If they say as is maybe top 5 americas region.

idk if neT would be a good replacement for mitch. mitch is probably better just because he can play chamber better than neT, but idk if mitch plays viper. vanity is a really good viper tho, so probably no need for mitch to play her. jonahp is the most flexible flex player in NA so he's definitely a good pickup for many teams, but I just don't see him replacing curry. Curry basically plays all the agents that Jonah doesn't somehow, except KAY/O.

in case you didn’t know, vanity+leaf+xeppaa have been together since ChaosEC in CSGO. idk why you have them separated. things like this make me question several roster combos.

also, there’s no way that ethan switched from CS (the best player to switch, btw) to not make a franchised team. same with s0m, who was one of americas best upcoming talents. maybe there will be a counter-exodus back to CS, who knows…

i agree with your IGL “ranking” (top 5, that is). dephh, FNS, vanity.

yeah I think the core stays the same, and maybe switch out will for cryo or smtg. I don't see many other IGL's as good as stellar , and bang, Asuna, and Derrek are pretty good. I could see Trent replacing Derrek as a possibility tho.

zander, vayln are better IGL's imo and derrek has been inconsistent compared to other initiators zekken trent eeiu. There are to many quality players out there.

zander and valyn are not better igl's than stellar. I'd say zander is a better player, but worse IGL, and that valyn is a worse igl, and prob has less fragging potential than stellar
