can’t lie most of optic’s fan base came from the fact they were the only team winning in NA. the players didn’t stream often, nor create content. any team for all i know could’ve been in optic’s position and would’ve garnered the same fan base. not hating optic, because i like them. just saying a lot of the reason they had a big fan base was because there was no one else in NA to support really.

optic didn’t have a weak link at reykjavik. what fns lacks in fragging he makes up for in igling twofold

TenZ(pretty much guaranteed) - duelist/chamber
SicK(maybe not but is streaming again) - flex/smokes
Zellsis(had good chemistry) - secondary duelist/ flex
dapr (consistent, part of main core) - senti/viper
Shahzam(let’s be real, low chance of stepping down from pro) - initiator + igl

for the record, this would not be the best performing team. for that shahz would have to go, maybe dapr too. but considering sentinels history with their roster i don’t realistically see much changing for sentinels (i do hope they sign some top t1 players tho. the less high tier free agents the better.)

having watched his streams and watched him in “pro 10 mans” he is a very consistent aimer who doesn’t often lose 1v1s. whether he’s better than texture? i can’t say for sure.

they haven’t been announced yet unlike other EMEA orgs, is there a reason for this considering their consistently good results?

ik he’s on a break rn, but you can’t forget SicK. before he took his break he was one of the most consistent players, and at the time, probably the best player on sentinels. once he comes back he should make a franchising slot.

it’s not solely the teams fault though, tenz has had his fair share of misplays. even though he performed better against 100t, i don’t think he should play chamber and he should leave the AWP to shahz.

still good to watch him play even if he pulls out of pro again
