Mate it’s 4 months , not 7 and it’s longer cuz we have lock in instead of another split

Confused why everyone is underrating 100T lmao. I know I’m kinda biased but they have got to be in the conversation going into sao paolo when every other na team + loud were ripped apart, and 100T has only been getting better and better since they started, and now they have a bonified oper in cryo. They def should be in the conversation with C9/Nrg/Sen especially cuz all of those have massive variance

Round robin- 16 team double elimination playoffs
Probably groups of 7/8

Chamber is gonna go out of the meta soon I think, they should def have someone who can play senti

cry0?

They actually did, watch the 100T doc on champs the first thing Will notices when he puts on his headphones in his setup in the hotel is the white noise

yeah cuz vanity posted it on twitter lol

bro riot isn't looking for good rosters, they're looking for good orgs

NRG probably rips apart their roster tbh, so many other good players available

posted about 2 years ago

Why do u think stellar is a worse igl than valyn? 100T literally beat them

posted about 2 years ago

even if the guard make the league they're not keeping their roster imo, too many other good players

posted about 2 years ago

yeah I just didnt include him cuz he's taking a break, made the most sense

yurrr

huh

zander and valyn are not better igl's than stellar. I'd say zander is a better player, but worse IGL, and that valyn is a worse igl, and prob has less fragging potential than stellar

posted about 2 years ago

You have a point, but I don't see 100T letting him go after the performance he had, and the chemistry 100T has already. If they're keeping stellar, Asuna, bang I don't know hwy they'd ruin the chemistry for a small upgrade in Trent

posted about 2 years ago

yeah I think the core stays the same, and maybe switch out will for cryo or smtg. I don't see many other IGL's as good as stellar , and bang, Asuna, and Derrek are pretty good. I could see Trent replacing Derrek as a possibility tho.

posted about 2 years ago

yeah I can also see Leaf staying on C9, I kinda just put baby bay with dicey cuz they have chemistry. I was originally not gonna include leaf cuz I forgot about him so ye

posted about 2 years ago

idk he dint rly fit role wise xeppa> also he stays on c9, depphh is initiator on sen cuz he's igl and Trent>

BCJ also plays a weird role on xset, some smoke agents, some initiator ones so yeah

posted about 2 years ago

I don't think the guard would get bought out, there's way better teams that could be made even with a couple changes. They were essentially na's fourth best team this year, so I don't see why they would get picked up as a whole when you have all of NA val to pick from

posted about 2 years ago

lmaoooo pre funny tbh

posted about 2 years ago

yeah the second one should be Diceyzx was a reformatting typo

posted about 2 years ago

like I said in the post, the team at the top rly doesn't matter. I don't think he would go to 100T cuz he doesn't clear Derrek by much, if at all, so 100T would keep the core. I don't think C9 gives up xeppaa, and then only team left is sen or Tsm here and I put dephh as the IGL for sen and he plays initiator so ye

posted about 2 years ago

I was debating between him and dephh but dephh did just bring his team to a top 6 finish at champs and dephh's initiator> subroza's initiator

Subroza on smokes is a different story but I didn't see a better spot for that.

posted about 2 years ago

he's where the second BabyBay is (in C9), typo there my bad.

posted about 2 years ago

I don't think shahz is better than dephh at all lol, zellsis> Dapr cuz he has more versatility off of sentinel (the role)

I got bored and created a roster for the entirety of NA franchising.
lol

The teams are just random guesses, I think 100T, SEN, C9, TSM will make it so I just chose them.

I took into account the fact that 100T is very likely to make franchising and will probably want to keep their core of Asuna/Bang/Derrek together.

I kept OPTIC as OPTIC because whether or not they make franchising they want to stay together, so I kept them together. (It also just makes everything even more crazy if I didn't so ye).
I tried to keep into account player roles, performance (i.e. how good they seem), their stats.

I also made sure every team had an IGL, which does complicate it a bit since good IGL's are few and far between. I chose Stellar for 100T because he is already on the team +he can frag +Sean Gares and him make a good pair and I don't see him leaving 100T

IGL's are highlighted in red.

These are just kinda preliminary guesses. I'm probably missing some very important players, and probably have everything wrong, but oh well.

Feel free to ask questions/argue against any of my picks - interested to see what everyone thinks.

this argument is dumb because those two one seeds played one game against other regions each
and those teams all only beat the worst teams in the even, not top teams

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah I know I was looking purely at orgs

posted about 2 years ago

yeah but they're competing agains EG/NRG/FAZE and optic here

the top three have 250 million plus, and have done more for the game, and then the last team there is optic

I can see Brazil having three spots I just don't see who they would take if it. Gamelanders is a tiny org, who else could they even take? The NA orgs in contention for that spot are so much bigger, and I think the player base in NA is stronger to fill those spots. I think Brazil and definitely field one or two strong teams, but I don't think they have enough incredible players to fight against even a fifth or sixth na team once we shuffle down to the top 30 na pros

posted about 2 years ago

Are u saying that NIP didn't make it, and that BR is confirmed to only have 2 spots?

posted about 2 years ago

For Americas franchising it'll probably be a 6/2/2 or 5/3/2 split for NA/BR/LATAM.
With all the super big orgs interested in NA, I don't rly see BR being able to cough up a third org bigger than any of the NA ones. I think it's already incredibly between six NA teams.

The way I look at it, Riot will want to have financially sound and loyal teams, so I think teams stack up as follows:

100T, C9, TSM: Kinda all seem like obvious choices - have experience with riot due to LCS, all have storied history in VAL (TSM has kinda sucked but oh well), and are all massive orgs monetarily, all worth in and around 500 mil.

Here's where it gets a bit more interesting. We have another 6-7 teams who could potentially fight for the last few spots. Sentinels, FaZe, The Guard, OpTic, SEN, EG, NRG (one could maybe say the ghost but they're kinda broke and I rly don't see that happening so ye).

I could see any of these teams making it depending on what riot is looking for.

First off, SEN: most popular org, most popular players, not crazy monetarily but their CEO has a good 200 mil net worth so they can def bring forward some assets. I think they have a really good chance of making it.

Next, TGRD: They're rich. Their parent company has like 10 billion in assets, and owns the rams, the avalanche, Tottenham fc, and a whole lot more. They've shown they're invested in val and have some pre good results, a pretty good shot to make it and I think a lot of people underrate their chances of making it.

Next up, OPTC and XSET. The fact that I'm only now getting to Optic and XSET shows how many teams could get the spot. They're both massive Valorant orgs when it comes to results and how present they've been, but they don't got tons of assets so riot might not buy in to them in that regard. +talks of optic's team being signed so I feel these two might not get in.

NRG and EG: both have some pretty good experience and investment in the game, and both are rather good monetarily. ~250 mil each, so they are decent candidates.

FaZe: They're rich, have invested lots into the scene, but they did lose a lot of money last year so there's a chance they don't get in because of that.

Some people have been saying that BR will get 3 spots, which while I think is still possible, I don't think any of the teams in possible contention for that spot outshine the NA orgs. LOUD is a pretty good lock to make it in Brazil, and furia and Nip are also possibilities, and I personally think that NIP have a better chance because of what they bring monetarily, they're a massive org in Europe and furia aren't worth that much.

That being said, the 6/2/2 split seems more likely since the na teams in the hunt outshine furia.

Personally, I think that the teams will be

100T
C9
TSM
SEN
TGRD
FAZE/EG/NRG for the last NA spot
LOUD
NIP
(I didn't look deep into LATAM so KRU and LEV I guess)

But ye that's just what I think from my research I'll probably be completely wrong but lemme know what you guys all think.

Just curious, who do you think makes it from Brazil as the third, cuz i rly can’t see riot putting in another br team over one of the much bigger na teams
