Masters vs Champions

Whats the difference between Champions and Masters tournaments? Is there different formatting?

masters has playoff seeding advantage from winning regionals, champions is where everyone fights for playoffs

champions was setup to be like the worlds/TI for valorant

No not really I guess you get a better trophy and also the prize pool is bigger

Technically speaking, champions is the tournament closest to a major in valorant. It's supposed to be the very best teams from all regions throughout the year, decided through points. However rn it's not much different from masters in terms of game play, it's just more prestigious because of the name. Hopefully that will change with franchising tho

And if you want to get really technical then masters is a "qualifier" for Champs and lets teams get a huge point boost.
