The goat of valorant proves why being Valorant Pro Doesn't Matter
That's the most immature copium response I've ever heard, he hasn't qualified for a VCT challengers main event in years, and the ONE thing he is known for in his OPing is getting diffed by other NA chambers like yay and cryo. Sad to see how far he's fallen off and still doesn't have the drive to get better
csgo is a fair competitive game, with tremendous volume of tournaments, and two 1mil+ major tourneys a year... just happens that eu players are the very best and they get rewarded for their skill, eu players rule cs since early 2004 almost, you were probably not even born... when i saw asian people getting to the very end of the playoffs on a fps "major" tournament that was a redflag for me... you always sucked at fps games... this game is easy as hell for sure
bro i played like less than a year and was easily immortal... I never saw videogames as a job or as something that I had to full-time dedicate myself cause I wanted to pursue a career, but believe me if I had to pick a game to go that way valorant would be it... just by playing casually i did godlike things in this game and felt like i was in faceit level 5 while doing those, everything was so easy to adapt myself into than just by playing a couple strong agents and knowing my part I had it all done...
? you are mixing things, dumbo what I said means that by playing valorant casually I achieved almost high elo.. the skill ceiling was non-existent after a decent ammount of hours, if I think of a game that i would want to invest my time into, to get noticed and maybe go pro this would be it, im not comparing anything just creating a ficticious scenario... between this and playing faceit till you get to a FPL level i would think the last to be virtually impossible for average joes, even dedicating to the game full-time... that's a big difference
I mean he's not wrong though, comms in eu are absolute garbage. I'm not saying this cause I'm some huge cs fan, trust me, valo has been the only game I've consistently played in the last year and a half. But yeah, comms on eu servers are trash. I'm not high rank, but I can't comprehend people in diamond elo not knowing basic callouts. Like 90% of comms are behind, left, right, etc. Like on Breeze if someone isn't on of the 2 sites or in tube they just call mid. Like that gives me any idea of where exactly he is.
Disclaimer: I only played on the Frankfurt server, so can't really speak about the other ones.
It's kinda true. Riot has made some really questionable choices in terms of the mechanics of the game, thereby lowering the ceiling by a lot. No spray pattern, slow movement speed, big hitboxes, run and gun. Those all factor in to the skill ceiling being so low, that not only has the playerbase reached it in 2 years of the game's existence, but the bad players ALSO have.
Tbf, that doesn't only take away from being a pro, it always did. The fact that the scene is still filled with CSGO rejects, was always off-putting and something I hoped would go away (I realized it never will). It also takes away from the spectacle, as no highlights actually look impressive.
Riot need to do better. Otherwise this game will die (as it is dying in Europe), just like we can see with the downward trend of VCT viewership.
thats exactly how i feel too,but u will still get down voted by delusional valorant fans because they dont wanna admit ur right even tho u explained it perfectly lol,but they made those changes for that exact reason to make the game easier and more casual compared to cs just like they did when they copied league from dota
in rl NA definitely isn't better at all eu has more trophies but pretty equal but eu has been better recently,r6 eu has 5 more trophies but this year NA won 2 majors and eu 1 one, apex na completely washes eu no question,in league eu has still been more competent and a lot people say its because of mental only in recent years na scene has started to kinda shrink in esports wiewership and maybe playerbase no one knows and NA orgs are like full eu or asia teams witch was not always the case,in dota na has always been worse than china and emea but they had eg who were pretty good at one point
pov:you have 0 idea about what ur talking about lol liquid literally has 3/5 the same players they had 3&4 years ago lol wtf does that have to do with anything also are you fucking retarded do you think hltv rank means something, also yes dota is dead af compared to league you are 100% right idk what ur point is but yeah
NA left cause no orgs invested in NA scene lmao. Orgs saw valve as shitty company and didn't see any financial incentives to invest. Hence why players leave. Even twistz left to eu. You're dumb af if u can't see how valve killed off cs worldwide. You cs elitist are too stuck up to see only reason why EU dominate cs is cause cs been dead in many regions. After initial hype and popularity valve did shit to support the game.
"Orgs saw valve as shitty company and didn't see any financial incentives to invest." lmao... thats not true... NA players didnt want to make a move to live in EU and compete against the best to develop and mantain their skills when pandemic hit.. (just twistzz did and it went well for him) instead, they sat down and then shortly after ran to this easy-paycheck game that is valorant... is not csgo's fault nor it's developers that one region is miles ahead of the others in terms of skill.. like the game is not designed to favor them in any way i dont know why u get so mad at cs being a game where EU teams are at the top of the line, they been since 1.6.. they deserved it, I dont see you being mad at asians winning every worlds in LoL... and every region is mega alive.. with new talents everytime... Latam has more tournaments than ever
nah they were still doing that when NA was playing because they were still trash lmao, also how do you have the audacity to say nitr0 being on liquid and them doing well means cs is easy when valorant top team igls have literally been boaster, fns, screaM,dephh, steel, shahzam and a fucking league of legends player who looks like he has Parkinsons when he aims but still manages to frag
idk if wardell was baiting but if he wasnt this is my answer on that information
xxif (fn player) owns him
zyppan (also FN player and masters champion) owns him
starxo or zeek idk (pretty sure one of these 2 used to play fortnite too) owns him
trent (rust player) owns him
derrek OWns him
sinatraa OWns him
sayaplayer OWns him
koalanoob (literally used to play minecraft like wtf does that even have to do with val LMAO) owns him
tacolilla (literally used to play league of legends most of his free time LOL) owns him
something more to complain about??????
oh right also jamppi got banned from csgo and owns him without even praccing his aim on csgo before joining valorant LMAO
Ita so dumb these takes lmao. Of course when regions don't invest in a game they're shit. Valorant is a fps shooter where it's popular and invested world wide. Will it stay that way ? No one knows but that's why competition is high atm. Look at cs and tell me it's not an EU and Brazil game ? Heck even with EU dominating somehow liquid from dead regions NA still top 4. Nice top level esports LOL. It's literally made for EU players to jerk themselves off cause they suck at other esports like valorant.
actually is a "RNG low skill ceiling competive game" because no one dominates nothing lol... no one could nor can achieve consistency, nor repeat what they've done before, just a few teams improved their results from tournament to tournament... I remember the overhyped sentinels and god tenz that had gone forgotten cause this is how this game will ever be.. if this game was fair and skill rewarding it would consist of EMEA vs BR/NA everytime, guess riot prevented the outcome while engineering this game... they need somehow to get people hooked to the game buying the skin packs cause the game itself sucks
This is just dumb. People still don't understand that it's a different game. There are players more suited to valorant and players more suited to CS. Nitr0 was trash at Val, came back to CS and is doing pretty well. Ethan was the best player on the EG roster that dominated CS for a while and is pretty avarage at Val. Being good at CS doesn't mean you are gonna be just as good at Valorant.
considering it's the biggest FPS esport in history, and been going on for the psat 20 years, I'd say it's pretty popular around the world.
You have teams coming out of china, Singapore, japan, KR, etc. The game isn't non existent, just valve crippled the Asian scene by charging per pc, per month. that just caused internet cafes to not house valve games, as it wasn't worth it for them.
The fact the use terrorist and counter terrorist isn't the reason it's not popular. Hell, some of the biggest and most successful games in history have terrorists being apart of it. It's not that big of an issue as they tend to censor specific versions of the games for specific countries.
It fell off in other regions because valve dont host events outside of EU. what investor wasnts to pay for a team, just to send them to EU. it sucks because Asia have/had some nice players that could shine if valve put any effort into other regions.
It's this reason I can see valorant passing CS esports. Riot are investing in every region right now, and they've had a great history with developing scenes in APAC, NA, and EU. It's why I'm more invested in val than CS aswell. CS I enjoy the esprots side, but it is bland when you watch the same teams face off at every event.
Nitro was not mid in Valorant dude. Dont forget he also went from CS where he had a huge slump for nearly a year, came to val and in less than a year was 4th at an international event. The guy also played all roles, at a high level. Like, cs is an EU show compared to Na, but dont discredit that nitro was a good player at val
Yes lol just make up whatever narrative. He was mid and shit 100t had to change roster. Fact that liquid still doing well when NA is a dead region means cs has literally no competition atm. Cs fans was shitting on him so much until liquid start doing well now he's suddenly good and tier 1. Tell me how random an esports it is. Lmao full of recycled boomers.
You're the one making up a narritive bro lol
The guy went top4 at an international lan, losing to optic. They then replaced their igl, and then their coach. All at the time he took up igling and was their main entry. the guy was by far not mid at the time he left val. Saying he wasn't is just a lie and cope tbh.
In CS, he's not at t1 player. the guy is in the pocket of elige, naf, and yekindar. All of which have been performing well in T1 in CS for years. they're the only NA players who can still compete at a good level. I'm more surprised that oSee is doing well. Nitro, is by far one of the weakest players in t1 atm.
ALso people still shit on him for being bad mechanically. Nobody has defended him mechanics. the guy is worse than what steel is in valorant mechanically. Guy is rocking a .87 in the last 3 months.
