What do people think about Shahzam? Is he the issue or not?
I always had the impression that sentinels gave too much power to the players, which sounds like a good thing in theory, and it kinda was the reason for their success early on, but I feel like it was also the reason for their fall. I don't think shahzam exactly was the problem, he's a decent player and igl, but I think if they had a proper team structure with coaching and management then it could've been different
Hard agree. Every team has their flaws. I think Sentinel’s management and staff was the reason why they fell. In the beginning is wasn’t an issue but as meta become more defined and teams are putting so much work to understand the game. They simply didnt have the support to replicate it. Like LCQ was the best they performed all year and i think it was because of their coaching staff.
not fun to play the blame game. the main issue that I think is that they didn't practice enough to keep up with the other teams. when they dominated tournaments and masters, they simply played more valorant than any other team. now everyone has caught up and plays extremely more organized compared to early valorant
