Do you guys think vlr.gg will change to work/look more like hltv.org
Anyway you look at it vlr.gg is a clear copy atm of hltv
That's undisputable. But will they Also at some point host the valorant world rankings when the esport grows.

i mean hltv is a very good site for finding out everything about csgo, if this site is the same about valorant can't be too mad
Yeah they just need to adapt cuz there are only rly forums, matches and event rn.
Honestly hltv forums can be abselute ebola arguing with cancer.
But every ounce in a while we strike gold and have a generally good discussion.
That's one of the only reason im Even on hltv.
So hltv.org is a copy of team fortress.tv and over.gg and vlr.gg are copies of both of em.
uhhhhhhh that too
don't know my early 2000s esports history well; it's all fucked up and pretty much all the sites and communities from that era are gone and weren't archived :(
Upvotes Sistem is what HLTV missing, so yea, maybe 2.0
But vlr also need to add dark theme
Honestly every esport needs and hltv style websites.
I cant Even find an official dota2, lol, overwatch, team ranking list.
Kinda makes me sad that r6s and csgo has one but not the ones i just mentioned :/
yeah but its very dead
you dont get threads all the time and not many comments/trafic
it's not available yet, although they did announce their plans to open it up recently:
Hey Quick question how many People have made vlr.gg accounts and did I make one of the first ever forum threads?
you can see the forums on the left i believe hello is the oldest one :) also there were articles written a month ago
yo why dont you just do authentification like on hltv without even email verification?
also wtf is this tech stack like php and jquery ui lmao what year is this
php isnt particularly fast for modern mainly IO bottlenecked web applications and why use bad tech stack on a new project if you dont have any legacy code
php is fast on the users end ;-)
also this project evolved from teamfortress.tv -> over.gg -> vlr.gg
you mean server-side rendering is fast for the users? that really depends on the bottleneck. if you have network bottleneck client side rendering is most likely faster if you have a trash cpu server-side rendering might be faster.
This is superior to Valorantify but Valorantify is more lovely.
This website needs a nightmode though.
And also, delete the upvote-downvote trash, we don't need that, if we wanted reddit we'd use reddit.
Were just keeping the HLTV "culture" (Let's be real HLTV is the least cultured place on earth) alive
there's lot of sites like this one... valorantify / thespike.
but they all seem to be great, let's see which one evolve the most so we can consider as the HLTV 2.0.
