when 100T first signed sean and ddk, some people said that casters generally don't have much success as coach/manager. but now that 100T is back to top 3 in NA after their rebuild, can we say that the signing of sean and ddk is a success story?

i don’t think anyone was hating on the sean, ddk move, people were actually excited because it showed 100t was serious about getting a solid team, and sean wasn’t just some caster, he’s the most legendary NA CS igl and everyone knew people wanted him as their coach, Shahzam said multiple times during SEN’s peak that they offered sean coach position but he wasn’t ready to compete again
I don't get why people are saying they have to perform good at Champions to prove this. They don't !! They've won LCQ, they're arguably the 2nd best team in NA, all this within 3 months of forming a brand new roster. I think they've done enough to prove themselves and we shouldn't expect too much from them at Istanbul considering they're all so young and inexperienced at LANs. However I still believe they'll do fantastic at Champions
not about the sean and the managment, more about the players
yes they have to get a decent placement in champions to prove that LCQ wasn't just a momentum type of tournament and in vlr language (fluke)
so yeah what does it matter if they do well at revionals and bomb out of groups, for me they need to at least get out of groups to get any ranking whatsoever
