I can excuse racism, but I draw the line at fatphobia
lol the notion that "fatphobia" is a thing is crazy
like bro you are quite literally overweight to put it nicely which means your body is at a greater health risk than others and (to most people) is more unattractive. Like if you wanna be healthier and more accepted and more "accommodated" by fuckin plane seats or toilets or whatever they think is "fatphobic" get thinner
i agree that asking for accommodations for overweight people (like plane seats) is kinda dumb, but not all overweight people have that mental fortitude to make that change.
there’s a lot of underlying circumstances that affect each individual and those of us who are lucky enough to be in a good mental state or have a good home life or have good genetics shouldn’t judge and ridicule people for being overweight, we should be empowering those people to take back control of their lives and make the changes they want to see.
Yea but the thing is… being fat is a choice. And you are the owner of your own body. You make your decisions even if you have shitty genes. It’s YOUR responsibility to take care of yourself. You can’t blame it on skinny fucks like xqc who eat the worlds unhealthiest shit yet still look like a decent human being. No. The world works in tough ways.
No one mentions blaming skinny people

The fact that you aren't able to understand this string of sentences shows that you've been privileged and haven't struggled with being overweight or the mental health issues that come with being overweight, and if by some chance you have you then lack the empathy to even try to understand someone else's situation.
Everyone should strive to be healthy for themselves yes, but you also don't get to choose for others.
Everyone also deserves to be treated with respect no matter how their body looks and no matter if you think it's their choice to be fat.
I was overweight. You could say I looked a lil worse than sinatraa. If uve seen his old pics. But thanks to all the bullying and the realisation that I would be left behind against all my peers, I came to my senses. It’s only once you take a step back, imagine yourself through a third person perspective, that you see yourself, truly from an outside perspective. (Does it make sense?)(plus I wanted to have the good life ;) and I had fomo)
i wouldn’t say i’ve ever been fat in my life, but i’ve been overweight before. in fact, almost a year ago today i was the heaviest i’ve ever been at 195 lbs (i’m 5’ 9” or 175 cm for reference). now that i’ve dealt with the underlying issue (depression), i have the mental capacity to better my health, and am now sitting comfortably at 160 lbs. i could never have lost 35 lbs if i didn’t target the root issue.
it was never my choice to be overweight, i just didn’t have the energy to better myself at the time.
Saying fatphobia is some horrible thing is dumb, racism is bad because no one chooses what race their born as and being that race doesnt make them lesser to anyone. But being fat is something you do to yourself and makes you physically lesser. If your fat because of some sort of medical disorder thats differant but if your fat because you stuff your face everyday and dont work out ill damn well make fun of u
It’s not like I’m defending fat people here, but man when i was in middle school, I used to see my friends eat like gluttonous beasts, yet they didn’t gain a single pound while I was eating home grown healthy shit like a good boy and I still got a lil Chub on my belly. And I would get fucking roasted. But thanks to that experience I live a healthy lifestyle but my friends… well let’s say they look unhealthy as FUCK. but still skinny. Not in a good way tho, you know what I mean.
Of course, i dont think you should make fun of people simply for being fat, thats not fatphobia thats being a dickhead. But if someone is being an ass and their on the rounder side, i dont think its bad or immoral to make fun of that. Though i do understand that some people are born under very differant circumstances, and some people have legitimate excuses for being overweight. But thats not most people.
