about keznit racism and how to avoid cancellation

Ok, I think this is something we all should understand:

TL;DR: keznit isn't racist, but he has the responsibility of caring his own public image defending himself solidly.

The truth is that Keznit has never been racist towards brazilian people, he was very controversial since CS times (accused of ton of shit, including cheating and toxic behaviours), but never a racist person.
Something everybody should admit about keznit is his toxicity in praccs, rankeds, etc. That is something that even he admitted several times.
Now, he has been cancelled by BR Valorant since the pava's friend situation (which was completely out of context), and all along the other circumstances coming out, what I find unfair since he's not shown racist attitudes at any time.
But why is this topic still coming up? Well, it would be easy if keznit had defended himself from all of the accusations with more solid arguments, and not only shittalking his accusers. I'm sorry for keznit, I admire him a lot, and he doesn't deserve all this shit, but as a famous person, you have to be mature and take responsibility of your public image as well as you can, and he has never made a twitlonger in response to all this shit. That's how life works, nobody can clean your public image except of yourself.
So, is keznit racist? Ofc he's not
Does he deserve to be cancelled? fuck no
Who can stop all this bullshit? him, and while he doesn't try to, BRs, naturally, will keep mad at him.

Anyway, I invite you all to try to understand both parts before judging in this type of situations, that could prevent most of the misunderstadings going around everywhere ;)

i think whatever any brazilian say will be answered with "you can't be sure" or "there is no real proof". i do have my beliefs about this (based on every evidence i saw and every witness i listened to all this time), but i also know this scenario isn't going to change, so i give up - unless keznit fucks up (again). and a twitlonger is indeed necessary, but that guy is just too proud and belittles a lot of BR pros to give that a shot ig.

but the other side of the coin is: tho keznit isn't explicitly (and publicly) racist, a lot of his fans are. you just need to go to BR orgs medias when KRÜ wins against a BR team and you'll see the amount of racist messages towards us

for me you almost admit that he had racist attitudes, but it's ok, after all they are out of context

Sadly this kind of threads brings more people willing to discuss or argue, than people who actually try to take a positive insight about this kind of situations.

if in the first problem in val he did a stream asking sorry if he sounded more lika monkey than dog it would never get this far.

i leaning towards agreeing with you. i was always on the "keznit is racist" train, but lately I've been reading well constructed arguments about him not being and I'm starting to believe. but all of it came from LATAM users, LATAM people on Twitter, never an official statement from him. now, our regions hate each other because for LATAM we are obvious crybabies, and for us, you guys are ok with racism. he should have addressed it in a serious way a long time ago, but he never did, just swore and fed thia stupid rivalry

My 2 cents about it.

He had 3 controversials situations against brazilian comunity:

1 - Monkey Sounds
2 - Calls Aspas “Primate”
3 - Calls Dgzin “CJ”

Me, as a Black man and Brazilian will say what i think about it.

1 to me, he makes the “brazilian dog sound meme” to me its obvious, not racism

2 i dont buy the “thats how we call “cousins” here, but! I think he just call Aspas “stupid”. But, we brazilians knows “even here on VLr.gg we been called monkey in many ways.

3 to me, he was very stupid and even if he dont meaning, he made some racist act. I really think that he dont meaning, but thats dont mean that he didnt.

I'd rather call him a donkey who said racist things without thinking than a racist guy who sees no problem committing racism, in this forum, racism is committed every day in different ways and is much worse than what Keznit did.
