they combined BR and LATAM, it gives the same amount of slots if they just separated them

I would say bcs of 2 separate regions latam and brazil but east asia (japan and korea) only got 1. And APAC which has couple regions combined only got 1 as well

they do that instead of doing 1 br and 1 latam spot because having a combined lcq is more competitive

Last year LATAM had 1 spot and BR 2, with an additional one coming from Last Chance Qualifier LATAM/BR (two regions combined for the last spot), total = 4

This year each region has one guaranteed spot and two coming from LCQ, total = 4

filler spots for a bronze region. it makes other regions look better by farming this tier 4 region

You guys dont get that LATAM is divided in LATAM north and LATAM south, two diferent leagues and the two best teams from each league play in a LAN for masters spots.

In the SA LCQ the 2 slots are for LATAM north, LATAM south and Brazil.

If only the cheap fucks in riot makes champions a 20 teams tournament we will not be talking about this shit.

I know NA was being annoying and wanting the slots over LATAM/BR (Which they're not wrong)
But EMEA is the biggest region and still doesn't get that many
They have the Highest skilled T2 teams

Imo riot just need to add more slot for other region
