they do make metas tho, they popularised breach, pioneered icebox (literally stated by seangares), invented the triple iniator on ascent, many teams and pro player alike have literally agreed teams steal drx's strats. and while its not neccearily 'unlucky' its a feelsbad when they lose 11-13 every time except this time.

Buzz and Stax are pretty toxic and arrogant players clearly. Everyone always hyped them up so much but they have never achieved anything and always fall. I'm pretty sure Acend is the only EMEA/NA team they have ever beaten. And also the hypocrisy when most people were shitting on teams DRX won over while talking about their Korean overlord kekw
Yes, but I just feel like both Buzz and Stax has always been really big on BM and overall DRX feels bit arrogant at times looking at their interviews and their approach. I don't know how true that actually is, but I remember that being really common trait among Korean players and teams in Overwatch. Where they kind of see themselves as superior and also adding how much praises they always get.
Did you ever watch streams of pros playing in Korea servers? Korean players were so toxic to western pro players who were just there for a tournament. That toxicity was next level. People there had serious superiority complex. And yes it doesn't mean every Korean is like that, but it seems to be quite common trait among Korean esport players.

Feed/troll on teams with subs but when CHAD player checks-in and proceeds slapping them off their HIGH SHELF ... they're all suddenly hurt and asking for mercy... Did anyone from them even bring up mutual understanding or sportsmanship? No, forget that shit ...nobody cares about that when you feel like "FLY HIGH". Nothing new tbfh ... DRX got praised since first year of valorant because they were already trying to play the game in a perfectionist way and they don't gamble too much during matches, if u watch any other teams they all do gambling sometimes, DRX only gamble when they're too ahead or too behind;
It's just like in soccer when a player only do Backheel flick when his team is already winning by 3x0, but never do when is 0x0.
Almost every single team in Masters like to risk way more like, high risk, high reward plays. DRX risk only when getting stomped, or stomping.
Yes that's true they did but didn't work for them as too safe was very readable to good teams.
I guess stylistic it works for them regionally because they have no one to push them to up their play and its obvious they haven't figured out a way for their team comps to work internationally.
I guess they have a couple months to fine tune their comps. They are good enough individually to pull it off; never going to be easy though
Maybe because stax turn off his no respect mode on importants game. And they lose.
Maybe because all of their fans praise highly about DRX and tell world how they gonna win tournaments since last year, but in reality they never make it into top 4.
But they're indeed a top tier team. But still not good enough to be a title contender. I hope they comeback stronger, or just rest up let damwon take the ride next.
