NA LCQ winner?

I honestly can see any team winning this LCQ in NA.

TGRD has shown that they can compete at a high level earlier this year, took a bit of a fall, could very well bounce back

Faze placed top 3 in NA VCT (maybe they just needed more time to get to the top)

Shopify is a bit of an underdog story but they have beaten some good teams this year.

SEN with a new roster? Shroud and Zellsis? honestly could be boom or bust. nobody knows yet.

C9 looked flat in this last VCT. maybe they ironed out the kinks with curry and now they're back to their former selves?

EG? They beat optic once... they beat a very good ghost team. made it to VCT playoffs... clearly they have a chance.

NRG... in my opinion the favorites (maybe Faze) considering their VCT playoffs run

100T... They have mixed performances imo. sometimes they look like world beaters and other times look like the weakest team in the tournament. this is the biggest question mark for me

sure but who cares? its day 3 for their bootcamp. I don't think they'll win LCQ either but i think its a bit unfair to judge their future performance based on scrims... i mean they were winning every scrim when they went 0-5 in group in VCT... soooo... who cares? scrims arent really indicators of actual match performance.

Here’s the context for that quote: https://youtu.be/apSKYghffYA. First, he says that they have lost most of their scrims, not all of them. Second, he makes a very valid point about how scrims (especially when you’re in the early stages of practice) are more about learning than winning and if you just focus on the result then you’re not going to get as much out of it. If we were less than a week from LCQ, then maybe it would mean something but right now all it tells us is that they’re trying.

Knowing that they aren't getting franchised, I think it'll hurt their mental. Idt they'll have enough motivation to compete, knowing they're disbanding in a few months. It's very sad to see such a good team in this situation

Yes, I think Tenz on lan absolutely aim diffs everyone in NA except for Dicey. Tenz barely aim diffs Dicey, but Dicey can beat Tenz. Also, Faze (Supamen) always have shit wifi. The T1 online is equal to Tier 2 on Lan. I don't think C9 gets better on Lan compared to the Sentinals and Faze rosters having actively bad wifi (all of sen in S2 were 40+ ping vs 2-20 ping which makes a difference at the level).

I'm gonna be honest. I don't believe in them after losing to NRG. Also, not a tier 3 team just like third tier in terms of Ranking. If Asuna plays like that game, they have a chance. If he plays like he did the rest of the stage, they are tier 3.

100T literally only got out of the tournament at 5th-6th because of riot's terrible bracket for playoffs allowing playoffs before the 4th place match. And the rematch curse is very real. Out of 5 rematches in challengers 2 NA all of them result in the original loser winning:

NRG hopium in my heart. But if not them then Guard if they bounce back, Rebels, or 100T all would be good for champs imo. All comes down to if lcq is lan or not.

If its lan sentinels and c9 might have a better chance just based on experience

Everyone sleeping on C9 at the moment after acquiring Curry. Last LCQ also we didn't expect them to do well and they ended up being the team to win it.
Regardless of how good curry is, the remaining roster is really good.

i know for a fact the guard are capable of qualifying without even dropping a map, but the real question is if they bring that to their games. they have been performing badly recently but they have the potential in their grasp. if they don't show up, its anyone's really, but if they are playing good in the first couple matches, i am confident that they will win
