It kind of makes sense tho no? OpTic placed 2nd in NA (A), FPX placed 2nd in EMEA (B), and then you have DRX 1st and BR 1st (unless they are counted as SA with Leviatan). OpTic's fault they didn't place 1st and LOUD just got unlucky because of format.

You don't understand what I mean, I'm saying that they should at least have some kind of head start from the championship as a whole based on the past championship, and not leave the champion and vice champion in the group stage

Eh, I don't agree. Their reward for winning the last masters was qualifying for Champions. They lost in the NA finals to XSET which made them go to the group stage instead of straight to playoffs as XSET did. It wouldn't be fair for them to go straight to playoffs in the next Masters JUST because they won the previous one.

this all happened because for some reason the 2nd seed of LATAM/BRAZIL determines which 1st seed starts off in the playoffs lol. should've made LOUD and LEV face off for playoff spot
