In a TwitLonger, Patiphan explained that he had been playing with a wrist injury for the past seven months. While he stated that it "doesn't affect [his] performance at all," he cited the decision is "all about [his] confidence."

Patiphan also stated that he will remain a member of X10, despite being on break.
