Masters Berlin
Champions Seoul: With public, considering eSports are huge in Korea, as well is valorant
archetype [#4]valorant is not big in korea fren..
wouldnt matter that much if theyre gonna keep doing lans w/o an audience
uganda_forever [#10]come to brazil
Brazilian teams would pop off for sure, imagine LOUD playing with fans screaming and cheering for them
Vortexy [#5]FPS isn't that popular there tho, doubt they would even be able to sell out all the seats
there was a crowd for vct korea and it sold out fairly quick
qwertyuiopasdfghjklzxcvbn [#13]there was a crowd for vct korea and it sold out fairly quick
the stadium was small, and a lot of the seats were still not sold out
not complaining, would love to have an international Korean Lan, but in terms of revenue and interest, it's not the logical place to hold one
deathlyclaws [#2]No more masters Reykjavik..... give us masters Tokyo or Dubai
dubai is quite expensive
Mememeister1 [#21]and ethical issues
in what sense, just curious as to what you mean by ethical issues

Bro there were like 30 people in the crowd. What are you talking about?

For example the football World Cup that’s gonna be held in Qatar is already finding them.
Just an example, people can’t show they are gay in public as is not allowed in the country

nothing wrong with being part of the LGBTQ community because that's their choice and we should respect it but you do realise that that is because of religious reasons right?

ignoring that thousands of migrant workers have died while building world cup stadiums and related structures because the overseers failed to protect their workforce?

oh no I have lived in the middle east I was an expat there for a long time I know how they treat us and the inherent racism that comes along with it dw I am well aware of it I'm just addressing the gay comment like that is for religious regions but they very much do exploit their migrant workforce

the same can also be said for a lot of major companies as well with sweat shops, incredibly low wages, shit working conditions and just exploiting them all, so no one is perfect really

I lived there my whole life basically. Absolutely hate it but still dubai would be shout just because it's a tourist hot spot plus there are a lot of big companies with big money, plus they would get a decent crowd of sorts there

Ofc I understand the reasons my friend, but you have to also understand that it can present an ethical issue. I’m not judging everything, all I’m saying is if the events are held in a place with the biggest individual freedom possible the less people will have the least problems. You can have your culture and they can have theirs

yeh I can see how that would be an issue obviously I agree with you, no doubt about it but every places presents with some kind of ethical issue irregardless of where it is but I like to think that riot games is quite inclusive and receptive of all things and that they can make good decisions in regards to everything it would be good to get a LAN there just because it would be nice to experience something like that because things like this we only see on twitch and overall looks like a really good experience
