again, proves my point, pointless rambling with no actual evidence or reasoning to back yourself up, just plain old rambling on and on completely failing to address the valid points i've been making
ok tbh i hope they get someone else to call and lead, idk why i said that, now that i think about it you can probably fill the caller role easily with a little practice,i was too dumb to acknowledge your point and now that i think about it they should def kick him it would make them so much better i doubt it would affect them negatively
I would assume the reason was exactly what you just said tbh. As an individual, he was performing pretty poorly, and Acend as a team looked almost leaderless with no sense of decisiveness which they used to once have. (In defense of bonecold tho, poor performances usually end up with someone becoming a scapegoat)
that quite literally wasn't the reason, bonecold literally said himself that their team culture and his view of how the game should be played was getting too different from the team which restricted them playing to their strenghts, also kiles is literally worse than bonecold if it was about that he would have been first
Bonecold's individual stats have not been up to par. Regardless of Kiles' performances, his individual performance has not been good. Moreover, Bonecold, as an igl, holds more responsibility than any other member of his team for their recent stretch of bad results. (So simply comparing individual stats is not the way to go, but even if you do, that still makes Bonecold look bad either way.)
"bonecold literally said himself that their team culture and his view of how the game should be played was getting too different from the team"
well there you go, ty for confirming my claims that he was not performing well as an igl since he wasn't able to successfully pass his messages and views on how the team should play well enough to his teammates, which is key for an igl to be able to do effectively
respectfully do you understand what the word "different" means, the fact they had this internal problem (this was a problem for a long time even in champs) has nothing to do with his calling being bad or individual performance not being good enough for the team,if their core has a completely different view of the game and they are not really having the same vision anymore it obviously creates a problem in the team and affects their performance regardless of how well bonecolds calls, its not bonecolds job to force his own vision on others and try to force to make it work,do you understand that there isnt a "correct" way to play valorant, every igl has their own and it is vital that the team has the same vision aswell and in this case the core didnt,it doesnt mean his way of calling was bad more like there were too much egos and opinions and they needed to make a radical change to make sure they can qualify next time
respectfully, did you even read what I wrote?
yes ik what the word "different' means, do you? I completely understood that he has a different view on how the game should be played. Not that hard to understand.
"has nothing to do with... individual performance not being good enough"
kinda does, if he was fragging insanely and going +20 kills every game or something, I can guarantee you he would not have been benched.
No team will literally say that "playerX has been going negative alot, their kda is bad and therefore we're going to drop them" Instead they'll say something mushy like "Today we part ways with playerX. He has been a key foundational part of our roster since its inception. We wish nothing but success for playerX's future" blah blah blah even if everyone knows they have been individually performing poorly.
Besides that, I agree with everything else you said, since it literally supports my claims.
"if their core has a completely different view of the game and they are not really having the same vision anymore it obviously creates a problem in the team and its not bonecolds job to force his own vision on others and try to force to make it work"
couldn't have put it better myself. If you haven't noticed, I've been basically saying the exact same thing. He cannot manage to effectively have his ideas executed by the rest of the team. Yes I definitely know there is no one 'correct' way to play the game and he has his visions which are totally fine. I even said he's a good player further in this thread to another person, but he is failing to have his visions be implemented well by the team, hence his benching.
players have literally been benched only for that reason many time in esports just because their view and attiude etc didn't fit the team culture,i dont understand is valorant the first esports you watch???,how can you still make this about how its his personal fault that his opinions and ideas are DIFFERENT to other core players and ,have you maybe considered the fact his ideas were just not the same as the rest of the team and it has nothing to do with him not being able to "effectively have his ideas executed by the rest of the team",do realize the igl is not a robot who just executes ideas and everyone has to agree to them 100% of the time,if there are too many egos and voices on the team it will usually cause problems like this, and again it has nothing to do with personal performance
