My city is relatively close to Russia and it's being shelled hard as it's one of their main targets, I "escaped" and currently residing in a small town in another district where things are quiet
Nobody knows when shit's gonna end, but it's clear that Ukraine will win the war, it's just a matter of whether Putin will end it quick with not so many casualties, or go crazy and murder even more poor citizens who did nothing
You argument is correct, but the aim of these sanctions/actions from anti Russia coalition is to get regular Russians out on the streets to protest against Putin's kleptocracy which would naturally lead to regime's fall. Sure, Russian security services can arrest 2000 people in ~10k protest(being generous here), but they can't arrest 20k people if Russians are out to protest in Moscow by the 100 thousands.
This is the only possible and realistic way to avoid nuclear war, it is up to Russian people to depose of Putin's kleptocracy. The sooner Russians start turning up in protests against Kremlin by the 100 thousands, the sooner this fucked up war between brothers can be finished.
At the same time nobody wants to be that guy who gets killed on such riot against Putin, ideas are ideas but if you lost your life it was all meaningless, you don't exist anymore and you can't experience the "new world"
Because peacefully you won't make anyone do anything, over 100 died during Maidan protests
I don't know if you're religious and believe in heaven, but I think that every creature (human, cattle, fish, whatever) has one life, one time on earth, and it's important to not lose it in such stupid way like fucking protest, because when you die there is nothing but void
This shit sucks. I understand banning orgs (I don't agree but I understand), but banning players??? Why should innocent Russian people have to pay for the actions of their tyrannical government that they have no control over? This is shameful. I just hope game companies and orgs don't listen to this idiot.
It's very unfortunate and sad that so many innocent Russians would suffer from sanctions and stuff like this, but that's the only way outsiders can take action against the russian government. You make the people hurt so then they are eventually mobilised to revolt against their leaders and try to create change from within. You do that by attacking their livelihoods and their pockets. You isolate the nationand those associated with it.
And if you're not happy with countries isolating russia, there's always the alternative. Military intervention, More bloodshed. You choose.

The Virtus.pro and Gambit players are therefore welcome to compete under a neutral name, without representing their country, organization or their teams’ sponsors on their clothing or otherwise.
If Riot followed suit, Gambit would likely have to compete under a different name, not tied to the org or they just can’t play
FPX and Navi will have issues with having to compete
