How good is lost ark

I have never played wow or any other mmorpg, only fps games, (paladins, ow, cs, val) some open world games (AC series, witcher3, botw, hitman), hades, currently playing hollow knight, (will start dark souls series in a few months), maybe will play poly bridge 2 or something lmao

tldr: is lost ark good coming from non mmo(rpg) background?

very addicting, also going to be constantly updated because it's doing good. If you're debating whether to start playing now imo you should do it because you get a bunch of bonuses right now.

I mean there's no way to tell if you will like the game type till you play it. IMO it's a pretty fun grinding game where u always have some mission or smthing to do and if you play with friends its pretty fucking fun cuz ur just chilling with friends while also fairly occupied playing the game. its also a good game to play if you just need like something to do while watching something but idk if I would ever play the game purely focusing on the game itself with no friends bc its no that hard once you learn the mechanics and combos for characters.

Leveling/learning the classes is somewhat fun but the end game just isnt there yet. PvP is just an AOE button mash fest and the raids arent nearly the quality of WoW/FF. Also the class balance is pretty bad.

My first MMORPG game ever and I have put around 35 hours into it (in like 5 days). Its fun game and combat and stuff feels pretty good. I have no idea what I'm doing, but its fun. PvP was fucking dogshit though. Also the community seems pretty fun and its just fun to talk with randoms in chat (if you are on english speaking server).

I play a lot of MMOs and what Ill say is, every MMO is an acquired tasted. Lost Ark is mid at best, definitely lost me with its pay2win aspects and the fact that some grinds can take actual months
