in fanbase, esports, audience, impact in society and other topics?
urmomishwt [#3]you good bro, what did you smoke ?
I just want to know what people think about this, I think that valorant still has a long way to go to surpass cs
Fanbase - no
Esports - no
Audience - no
Impact in society - just go to google trends and compare the games and you will find out
Do i think csgo will reach what league has of 100 million monthly players - no (unless valve starts to care again)
Do i think valorant will reach what league has - there is a chance
trola [#8]valorant is definitely more popular around streamers, especially NA but csgo still have more fanbase than valorant and still more popular in general than valorant
More popular for streamers because it's more casual friendly and the game has a good following from kids especially the fortnite gen. Meaning easy viewers.

Playerbase: yes
Audience: yes
Esports: no, need some more time, but already close enough.
And cs frogs wdym Valorant has more content creators? Content creators stream those games in which people are interested. No one wanna watch 4:3 wide screen 2011 shooter on twitch/yt and no one will play it while Valorant exits - its just a better and newer game /closed

NA CS is dead
fanbase? no, but they have potential to surpass csgo bcs they succeded to attract more kids, while cs had less fans "regeneration" and as their fans getting older. overall csgo had more fanbase but valorant fanbase spread among more regions.
esports? no, riot definitely had better esports development than valve but overall csgo had better esports bcs they were carried by tons of 3rd party like esl, iem, blast etc.
audience? yes, bcs valorant attract more younger fans and carried by streamers while many cs fans that getting older has lessen their attention to the scene.
impact to society? idk
YV2NI [#46]csgo is a dead game valve need to improve and step up for that game they need to rework on it make more updates and maybe after they do all of this it will get some attention back but it will never be as successfull as it was

ItsMeDio [#50]they downvoted u cuz speaking a fact
