The reason why monke agent good, is because what used to be good hooman agents now bad that monke>hooman
He would be a perfectly balanced agent if rit0 didn't kill basically every other duelist duelist and senti in the game.
how is phoenix broken? prx, t1, kru all played him only on haven whereas fnc on haven and fracture; its not like neon/ yoru meta where these agents were being played every map
while, he can ult cycle easily and be played for flashes; he isn't a must play on all maps

The only reason why Phoenix is good is because everyone is bad
genuinely what do riot devs get paid to do? the game gets one or two meta changing updates every year and that's it, and by meta changing I mean they turbo buff a character then turbo nerf it, the majority of the characters get absolutely zero changes. not to mention they release one new game mode every two years, there are essentially zero special events, the games cosmetic system is extremely predatory. meanwhile what we do get is a shitty GUI change every 6 months, congrats to the UI team for convincing riot they deserve their job
the biggest updates we've had in the history of the game iirc were the update that killed utility last year and the update two or three years ago which... also nerfed utility. if I wanted pure gun fights I would go play cs. do they have no understanding of the game's audience?

How many other shooters have loot boxes and you wanna say Val's system is predatory? To whom? People who lack enough self-control to not enter the shop and buy some gun animations?
They've been releasing several new game modes a year and rotating them... I get the complaint that ranked rewards aren't enough but if you're yapping about game modes you're literally not looking at the updates
And as for balance, I know this is a hot take because it's cool to hate game devs but it really has improved. I legit don't think we've seen such a wide variety of agents be picked ever in the game's history. Once they do something to discourage Neon dominance (and they are) it'll be obvious how much healthier the game is now than it was in 2024
It improved last champs. You're full of it if you can't see it immediately tanked off a cliff again after 11.08
