Mortadelo [#35]
He is ruining his career for this, but a couple things to say before canceling him like this
First of all he it’s not a matter of him thinking vaccines are bad or useless, what he is against is against the enforcement of it, he just wants to have a choice, and I understand that, not share it at all ( actually think vaccines should be mandatory ), but I can see a logical reason behind it even if I don’t agree.
Second of all he is not scared of the vaccine, actually tried to get the vaccine in Brazil Airport to be able to go in the country, but they told him that even with that he had to wait.
And again even you hard disagree with him as I do, I respect him for wiling to sacrifice everything just for his personal ethics
Right, but none of this detracts from the fact, that he on a day he was supposed to be vaccinated wasn't. That is the fundamental reason as to why he couldn't board Brazil and begin working with Loud. He did not do his due diligence and check the Brazilian policy before his flight and made sure he was vaccinated. None of it had to do with him having an opinion on mandates.
You'd have to be against the vaccines if you are his age and not personally vaccinated when 37 million people in Argentina are vaccinated. He also refused to take the vaccination at the airport. It is a simple fact, he doesn't want to take the jab and he lost his international job because of it.
He spews antiscientific libertarian think-tank garbage like the GBD and popular tropes such as informed consent. If they speak like an antivaxxer, walk like an antivaxxer and get blacklisted from their job like an antivaxxer, they're probably an antivaxxer.
He should own it and not pretend like it's something else, such as "i just have an opinion on the passport and i'm being cancelled for it".
