SuperRoss [#9]you're indian 😂😂😂
wtf has this site become, is he not allowed to comment on food thats from Italia just because he is indian? he gets downvoted for saying that he likes pizza more, sad actually
plas [#5]good pasta > good pizza
Yes, also pasta is a much better homemade dish due to it not having to have ur oven literally going into 500 degrees. Honestly I'm pretty scared to make pizza simply because broiling(unless u have a fucking pizza oven in which case u are weird) is just simply too hot. maybe I'm just overly cautious, but I don't want to risk burning my arm to make food. Also making pasta from scratch is surprisingly easy, you really only need a pasta roller if you find it difficult to roll out pasta yourself, and it's not even that expensive. I guess you can also say that a pizza stone is not that expensive either but let's be honest. unless you are making pizza every weekend, it's not really worth it. While with a pasta roller you can use it for a lot of different types of noodles.
Netero [#12]If you pick pasta, you live at a place with shit pizza.
I do have a lot of good pizza places around me but I'd rather prefer to just make some homemade pasta. I get to decide wtf is in that shit and I get to make it how I like it. It's also just so simple and quick to make. If you just use dried pasta you can make a simple sauce in the 10 or so minutes that you boil the pasta. While if you want pizza, you gotta go outside or wait a while.

I have a pizza oven don't call me weird :(
raka [#29]pasta alone is doggy, needs to get carried by other things you mix it with
pizza alone is dough + tomato sauce which is already DUB
pizza alone is just dough
scum [#18]They're different to me honestly, pasta to me is like a homemade nice and fresh dish, pizza is trashy fast food but nevertheless delicious
No shot in hell you call real italian pizza trashy
We're not talking american pizza
They fulfill different needs really BUT:
You're more likely to find a good pasta abroad from italy that actually tastes quite authentic, but that authentic real italian pizza just hits fucking different.
The tomatoes used are better, the dough is out of this fucking world and often fermented for much longer than dough in other parts of the world. The cheese is fresh and local, if you're a fan of prosciutto you also cannot find better elsewhere.
So if you're IN italy, pizza > pasta, if you're OUTSIDE of italy pasta > pizza
Just talking purely about the authenticity and how close it can match to the god foods of italy
