Yes but those very expensive stickers are usually sold on 3rd party sites and i dont think that money goes to the orgs. Only the ones that are sold on steam market bcz thats what valve can actually track

Maybe the money that goes to players is from the capsule itself? I have no idea though, because don’t the transactions inside steam go to steam?

I don't think you read what Cadian tweeted.
He has no idea how much money Valve made from stickers, he also only talked about sticker money he received after Major .
He has no idea what other teams made.
Stickers have just gone for sale now. Most people buy stickers only during sale.
I also think orgs must have received money for Viewer pass only, rather than stickers

he said below "from what ive earned, its not a lot". i guess its because they dont get money evenly from the stickers, each teams get different amnt of money depending on how much their team stickers sell

This major was the biggest event in CS history, Idk how much cadian got personally but the total revenue generated is probably the biggest they've ever seen, the last major was the most boring one ever and the stickers were horrendous but the players still got 11M.

I agree, CS Majors stickers, etc maybe give more money to players/teams, but they can't just say ''way more than 8m'' without any numbers, that just dumb :))

valve will never release any numbers themselves so collectors/skin enthusiasts make projections by observing the steam market fluctuations and unit stickers sold every day, it's pretty nerdy but more often than not it's accurate, I guess we'll see because the sale went live just last week and this is where the community really goes crazy over these items
