Shadowisgood [#2]so people pay 50$ for sticker in csgo?
and resell for 100$
steam is like cryptocurrency market
6vine [#4]Why are the HLTV guys always so butthurt? I've never seen VLR post anything related to CS on twitter
exactly lol. the guy whom cadian replied to is the editor in chief of hltv, why does he care so much to make a tweet about is ahahaha
Shadowisgood [#2]so people pay 50$ for sticker in csgo?
some are a few cents, others can go up to 60k, it's ridiculous
valulrantefanboy [#5]First, nobody compare, second give me exact number to prove that ''Stickers make way lot more than 8m''
read the full tweet and replies, cadian is saying they make less than 8m
wizardbot [#8]read the full tweet and replies, cadian is saying they make less than 8m
Yeah, I mean at least Riot give me numbers while there is no number from Valve or anything to prove either ''more'' or ''less'' , Those guys just make assumptions :))
ayejay [#7]some are a few cents, others can go up to 60k, it's ridiculous
Yes but those very expensive stickers are usually sold on 3rd party sites and i dont think that money goes to the orgs. Only the ones that are sold on steam market bcz thats what valve can actually track
valulrantefanboy [#5]First, nobody compare, second give me exact number to prove that ''Stickers make way lot more than 8m''
First paragraph on this blog post it says that CSGO will pay $11 Million out to teams, so double that is $22 Million. :)

valve takes 80% not 50% like good guy riot. so around 35-40 $ million (estimated)
wizardbot [#8]read the full tweet and replies, cadian is saying they make less than 8m
I don't think you read what Cadian tweeted.
He has no idea how much money Valve made from stickers, he also only talked about sticker money he received after Major .
He has no idea what other teams made.
Stickers have just gone for sale now. Most people buy stickers only during sale.
I also think orgs must have received money for Viewer pass only, rather than stickers

50%

valulrantefanboy [#16]They take 50%, don't be so dumb CS frog :))

he said below "from what ive earned, its not a lot". i guess its because they dont get money evenly from the stickers, each teams get different amnt of money depending on how much their team stickers sell
Thank you so much. thank to this Tweet i found this Video https://twitter.com/smileybeef/status/1468347025938956293
This made my Day
ayejay [#17]This major was the biggest event in CS history, Idk how much cadian got personally but the total revenue generated is probably the biggest they've ever seen, the last major was the most boring one ever and the stickers were horrendous but the players still got 11M.
I agree, CS Majors stickers, etc maybe give more money to players/teams, but they can't just say ''way more than 8m'' without any numbers, that just dumb :))
https://twitter.com/messioso/status/1468580485404274694
and players signatures added to 8m+
cs has usually 2 majors per year so this numbers are just an exception
kristof [#10]Yes but those very expensive stickers are usually sold on 3rd party sites and i dont think that money goes to the orgs. Only the ones that are sold on steam market bcz thats what valve can actually track
Maybe the money that goes to players is from the capsule itself? I have no idea though, because don’t the transactions inside steam go to steam?

valve will never release any numbers themselves so collectors/skin enthusiasts make projections by observing the steam market fluctuations and unit stickers sold every day, it's pretty nerdy but more often than not it's accurate, I guess we'll see because the sale went live just last week and this is where the community really goes crazy over these items
Mortadelo [#23]Maybe the money that goes to players is from the capsule itself? I have no idea though, because don’t the transactions inside steam go to steam?
I dont know

It’s the capsules that the teams get, Cadian said he doesn’t know how much Na’vi made because they got their own capsule meaning they made more money
ayejay [#7]some are a few cents, others can go up to 60k, it's ridiculous
We call "rarity" to this :)
6vine [#4]Why are the HLTV guys always so butthurt? I've never seen VLR post anything related to CS on twitter
they know that sooner or later Valorant > CSGO because Riot > Valve
