Don’t let that split fool you G2 completely countered their play style very easy to fix Sen got complacent there. 1-2 other teams at best are capable of recreating what G2 did there.

they did completely counter them, and that's the problem, and creates the issue that other teams can do the same. if they can just fix some of the mistakes (having more presence mid, reclear more), its great

our fracture SHOULD be good, I think we're prepping some shit on it because Kaplan loves to just surprise prep maps then use them randomly.

i'm pretty sure last year Kaplan fully changed our Split at the end of stage 2 we never showed it because the map got taken out of the map pool, Kaplan does some sneaky prep work need to see what he's cookin

Isn't fracture out of the map pool for Toronto? Pretty sure sunset is coming in for fracture in just a few days. And considering we are still weeks away from Masters, I expect it to be in map pool for Toronto.
So I don't think they need to spend time on fracture.

I think that SEN is good on:
Split (Were not shooting back and got hard anti-d by G2, def needs some work but has been really solid for them)
Haven (G2 banned it for a reason, SEN have looked really good since switching off that Iso comp)
Icebox?(A bit early to tell, but I loved the comp that they pulled out. Zekken needs more practice with the Omen, but I think that with more time this map can get even better for them)
Pearl (I've always felt kind of iffy on this one, but its been a solid map for them all year)
Ascent (Attack side is questionable, but its ascent so that's allowable to an extent. Defense looks incredible and they have great ideas against both yoru and waylay)

I am worried for:
Lotus (I hope that there is some cooking going on here, but the lotus has looked awful compared to last year, and they seem to be missing something there)
Fracture (I hate this map and so has SEN so far, as it's their perma)

i think, with time, lotus will be okay. we've always been very very good on lotus, needs some server time but we'll be alright.

What SEN is missing on Lotus i've said during their champs run vs EDG, is literally A control. They used to love taking A control no matter attack or def side, now Johnqt just takes C control only. Despite it being easier to retake mid round.

Yeah I like this take. I think it has to do with tenz vs bang on the omen. Tenz plays so much more aggro than bang, and his playstyle worked really well for A control. Bang is more of an anchor than tenz and doesn't really have the same tendencies that worked for A control last year.
