ATTENTION: im just speculating, and everything im saying is 90% not real.
serial, the guy who just got signed by team liquid. in the last 90+ days, only played sentinels and viper. even though he is a well known flex player, there might be the chance that he will be the next full time sentinel player.

what do yall think about the new sign that team liquid made?

my take is that their qualification to an international was out of character for them and they will not make another international over teams like KC, FNC, VIT

If that was the case, stupid decision. It hasn't panned out well for any of the other Sentinel igls moving to initiator and nAts' calling around his own setups was exceptional at Bangkok. You'd have to be trolling to move away from that.

That being said, I think it's more likely TL think the meta would favor being able to play double sentinel or Viper + sentinel on some maps and are getting a flex who can run that on the maps they want while still playing initiator on the others.
