Frod gave an interview with some interesting info on MIBR:
https://gamearena.gg/esports/valorant/frod-entrevista-pre-amer-s1/

  • I didnt understand if theyre comming on English or Portuguese/Portunol but either way there havent been any major comm problem on scrim and the team and Verno understand each other perfectly in-game
  • Verno is second calling on the team (?????)
  • He's doing pretty well and no problem like NRG rumours happening
  • Xenom is the one who speaks less english but hes still going well and learning a lot. The rest speaks english very well
  • BR players were considered but visa was a problem, Verno was more of a great opportunity with lack of better options
  • They like Waylay and Aspas is likely using it

Update: Artzin interview (https://gamearena.gg/esports/valorant/artzin-entrevista-pre-vct-amer-s1/)

  • MIBR is apparently comming mainly in english but also portuguese and spanish sometimes (LMAO)
  • Some minor problems but overall they're adapting pretty well
  • Working more with the meta but also with comfort picks
  • Possibility of using both Yoru and Waylay

yeah apparently hes being pretty vocal with tactics which if true means he very likely did clash on game calls with fns

he was not talking to safe all his words so he can second call the goat

same, seems like he’s a lot more comfortable with MIBR than he was on NRG

he probably gets along better with them since its a younger squad. more aligned mentality

I see why he punched FNS in the face. Tried to second call, and penis said sit down. And he punched him. Poor Vernier Caliper

Verno is second calling, laughing with the MIBR boys, hes discussing the game with the team...
If MIBR do well and NRG dont, FNSs retirement year will be remembered for all the wrong reasons

nah if it was just -verno i would agree, but -bonkar makes me think FNS was set on doing everything his way and the 2 oxygen guys didnt like it

tbh defending him i think sometimes a player just dont fit on a team. like pancada on sentinels

That was pretty cool interview thanks :) (translated to english)

it REALLY sounds like verno got sick of fns's calling style and just went mute into kickoff, which is a shitty move, but considering bonkar also decided to leave maybe it wasn't too unreasonable. that NRG core also has dreadful vibes at this point

i also think people have been overestimating how big of an issue the comms will be

yep. just seems like he and fns didnt really fit together, which is fair i guess. just kinda weird they didnt see this on offseason, but maybe they did and tried to make up for it

comms are a big problem if the team is uncomfortable but since they dont seem to be its alright

It's hard for a team to split up if they are winning, NRG has been saying that ever since kickoff ended as why they were so late to drop verno when he was clashing with them.
