I do cause it makes me happy. If I’m wrong… so what? Won’t affect me! So I’d rather live my life to the fullest but also not dread the end!

On a real note, I’ve struggled with existentialism. This new thought process of mine has helped immensely.
FrenchToast [#4]you know what’s funny.. i’m more afraid of my parents and family members dying than i am of myself. what do you mean everyone around me is getting older? 🥲
The ones close to you will always be with you, no matter if you want them to or not. The way you act and think has been influenced by those closest to you. They will always be apart of you. (I chose to believe that I will see them again, but also make sure to value the time I have with them in this world!)

For real though, some days I low-key really panic because of how insane it is that we actually exist. how we are just a speck of dust in the universe that won’t have an impact whatsoever is crazy!!

That's typically a trait shared among two types of people: those whom are selfless, and those whom have little regard for themselves. Which of the two are you? I'd assume the first, but often times a little of the second happens to sneak in

i think this is very natural bc your own death is literally incomprehensible, it’s either an impossible nothingness or an equally impossible something
meanwhile the deaths of others happen all the time and are something we simply have to deal with repeatedly
