Can someone explain me whats EWC and whats up with the partnered teams? And how does it work can anyone explain?? Like do the partnered teams will make teams on all events how will it work?

It's basically a Tier S+ tournament where only the best of the best appear. If a team is not there it is probably not relevant enough

EWC has a variety of esports. Even if they're not in val, they're still in other esport scenes, so that's why they're there.

the point is that players are gonna give it their best, which is also true for the saudi league with the exception of players who are already mega rich (which is not a thing in val)

all S-tier games featured under 1 common name - ewc. Teams compete in different disciplines and their overall rank is based on how they perform across the games they are in. So for example liquid can get top 4 at cs, top 8 at val, top 4 at lol and like top 3 in siege. And they will surpass teams like navi, who might only get a top 2 in cs

On a serious note, it's an invitational where teams can participate in many games with their different rosters. From a competitive standpoint is not that convincing since all teams are invited but the reason this tournament has some relevance online is basically due to the prize pool. Each team has the chance to take upwards of $1,000,000 so doing good here can really help teams economically.
