Hey, so I'm trying to study the current meta of Split and how to play it effectively. Can anyone give me any vods/matches of split that I should watch to understand it. It should be from this year and from Tier 1 preferably. If anyone has any idea of the current meta of split and can teach me about it and how to play it effectively, I would greatly appreciate it.

I’d recommend watching SEN (specifically from the grand final), LIQUID, or EDG games for Split. Gen.G had a great defensive half versus T1 if you wanna check that out, but their attack was bad. Hope this helps and best of luck to you in whatever you want to do!

Watch what pros are doing, see why they're doing it then try it in ranked. Better than relying on some random vlr user to teach you. Pick any Masters teams that have won split recently and go from there.

Just ask the vlr user m4, he is very intelligent about all things valorant and has an aspiring future to become a head coach.

It's not for ranked but regardless the thing is that just watching and trying to decipher why teams do what they do is hard and can probably take some time. The reason I asked on vlr is that I know some of the people here can get quite nerdy about these things and are probably well-informed or have already deciphered it. Obviously that doesn't mean I shouldn't watch pro vods, I still do I've been watching MIBR and TL since they've been really good at it in kickoffs but I'm just trying to get more input

I don't think the purpose was to stall but rather to put Cryo on an agent with not much util so he can just focus on using his really good aim and frag out

I feel like there are a lot of good comps in this meta, but yeah that one is really good for sure
