EMEA needs Team Spirit

the esport side of the game feels dead to almost everyone in Eastern Europe, and Team Spirit is the perfect candidate to get the role of this Eastern European team (legit 0 clue why riot thought navi would be this team, they distance as far away as possible from the east). Reasons to get Spirit in:
-Powerhouse in CS and Dota
-Known for developing a great scouting system
-Best Media content in Eastern Europe
-Pretty much took over as the biggest team amongst russians after the war happened and navi went towards Europe
-Are located in Serbia and have publically denounced the war
-Are rich enough not to rely on bookmakers
Kick some poverty team like KOI and let Eastern Europeans have another game to cheer for

but yeah, hopefully with the war (supposedly) ending soon we'll see the return of the CIS league

thing is, I don't really think there are enough teams to make this cis league happen (if riot are so against bookmakers).
You got Virtus Pro, Spirit, and then what? Parivision and BetBoom and 1WIN are all big enough orgs but are pretty much bookmakers in disguise, Aurora maybe, but they are owned by 1xbet owner sooo that's out of the window. Nemiga is a possibility, but afaik they are working on a low budget, kinda like ence in cs if you know what their project is.

I think it shouldn't be a problem if they're willing to rebrand for Riot

for example Acend in 2021 were forced to rebrand from 'Raise your edge'

they had some rebrands, like Parivision are just Pari, betboom are BB, 1win are 1w at the international dota circuit, but the financial side still remains bookie

For tier 2 I think it'll be fine, all it'll mean is that the team will have to sell their slot if they win ascension (sort of like how TGRD or SPG ended up doing)

also you have orgs like KPI and R8 who already have/had mostly CIS rosters
the talent is defo there, I think the orgs will come

question is to whom? The only somewhat an outside chance is that maybe Tundra Esports buys one of these ascended teams because Tundra is really popular amongst russian speakers (has the media dota king dyrachyo rn)

I think Spirit or VP are 2 orgs Riot would allow in tier 1
the rest (tier 2) don't have to be vetted as strictly
then you'll also have Premier feeding in to the league ideally

(I don't follow dota, so im ngl I have no clue who Tundra are)

VP is probably a no, if riot does background checks on them, they will find an extremely incompetent management and likely ties with the russian companies. Tundra Esports are TI11 winners who are basically gaining popularity in Russia because they have started to sign a lot of russian players in their dota roster. First it was Pure and Ramzes (and ramzes has been the dota prodigy in russia for like 5 years or something, he brings a lot of hype), right now it is dyrachyo there, who pretty much is the babyface for russian dota(great dude, chill guy, great player, funny streamer, got kicked from the team of rats and is now winning event after event)

Gambit is not a thing anymore, unfortunately
Spirit and Virtus.pro are the biggest orgs in the region right now if we not consider teams running under bookies banners

Gambit is basically defuncted. When the entire shit happened, they got fucked the most. VP quickly got bought out and were ''trasnfered' to Armenia, but Gambit couldn't do it. They were owned by the same company which owns MTS (russian Phone System Company) who had direct links to military communication as well. so MTS got sanctioned and gambit were cut
