this is actually great ngl they can all be on the team if things dont work out actually and they are all being trained by onur rn so i have confidence that they will all be t1 material

they cant play ascension tho, they are an academy and riot doesnt want to let academies play it, except if they are partnered teams which is a weird thing but i understand because it would make 2 teams from the same org on franchising and it can lead to interest conflicts and win trades in benefit of the org

Lev CEO has already said that the primary goal of the Academy is to supply the first team, not to sell players. Though he said that obviously if a Tier 1 team comes with 500k for a player and the player wants to leave too then Lev wouldn't be against selling a player

the point is with Lev, they put these guys in an academy team to pick them up themselves and to make sure that no other T1 team can pick them up aswell as giving them some of the best coaching and practice available

theyre not paying them vct salaries tho, they get at best the average salary from the league theyre playing in which is way cheaper than vct salary also they can possibly sell players for lots of money if some1 is interested

its more worth than you think, i´d rather have a player that knows my playstyle and knows the way he has to play his role on my team because he is in my org than payinga 80k buyout and not knowing if that player is gonna perform inmediately, not as if making an academy player move to the t1 team aint a coinflip too but there is less confusion
